Answer:	If you don't need finger dexterity, mittens would keep your fingers warmer than gloves. If you need finger dexterity as well as warmth, be sure to order at least one size up. Carhartt do NOT run small, and have very little elastic at the waist/cuffs, so a baggy fit is drafty.

Answer:	Hey Mike, I usually get an extra large I'm 5 11 about 230ish but I decided to get XX-Large so I could wear a hoodie sweater comfortably underneath but it turns out I didn't need to !! The X-Large coat had enough room and fit perfect with or without hoodie ! I would say stay with your reg size !! P.S. the coat comes very stiff like but that's because of the weather proofing material. But after a couple wash it should loosen up and feel even better and it doesn't fade like the regular black coats !
