Answer:	Yes. There are different types of UV protection though. All Smith and Suncloud sunglasses are certified to meet "specialty use" which means 100% UVA/UVB/ . Most if not all major sunglass companies do not put those UV stickers on their lenses (because the ones that do usually do not. ) How dark and the color of the lens does not affect the amount of protection. The color/tint and polarization does affect visible light transmission. Polarized lenses take away all reflected glare away.
