Answer:	I'm not sure, but my experience so far has been very positive. The umbrella seems to be solidly built and holds up well in moderately strong wind. It crisply snaps open and folds up easily. It's also very compact and fits into most bags. However, it's not a very wide umbrella, if that's a necessity. I would also recommend tying it with the attached strap right after use.

Answer:	From point to point, straight across, it's 38 inches. To me, it's a perfect one person umbrella. I bought 2 to keep in my Jeep in case of a sudden rain. It's a very nice one to be honest. They make a larger one but it's not a compact as this one, but I may get it anyway.

Answer:	No. What you do is, as you close the umbrella, it goes up and the water is collected inside the "bowl" then you just dump out the water. Just shake out the umbrella and it stands with the open end downward. That way water droplets that are left on the umbrella will drip down onto the ground or floor. It's very cool. I have two. Highly recommend. There are videos online that makes it easier to understand.
