Answer:	My daughter received it as a gift at birth and I gave it to my nephew as a baby shower gift. It is not necessarily "inappropriate" for a 2 year old, but might be a little baby-ish. For a 1 year old or under, it is super adorable and soft for them to play. The baseball makes a batting and crowd noise which is my favorite. But for a 2 year old boy, he'd likely be bored by it. I would think at 2 he will want something a little more interactive. But it is a very cute baby gift.

Answer:	Mine just came on a little card inside a plastic pouch...I put it in a box myself to present it to my niece.
