Answer:	I'm a size 16/38 waist and it fits me fine. It comes with a belt so you could make it appear smaller in the waist with it. There is a standard size in this same Bewitching Witch costume from Leg Avenue, you might be better off with that one in XL.

Answer:	I am 5ft and ordered a small and it came about mid thigh. I wore a petticoat underneath and it lifted the skirt a bit more. So it may be a bit short for you. Loved the costume!

Answer:	It is not covered. The elastic is the clear plastic kind, and it is simply serged at the bodice seam. There are parts at the side that prickle and chafe.

It would depend on where your weight is situated. these dresses both have an empire waistline and a full skirt so is suitable if you carry your weight in your tummy. If it is in the chest and shoulders, then you would probably want a medium or a large.
