11 best ninja stars
Ninja stars, also known as shuriken, are traditional Japanese throwing weapons that have become iconic symbols of ninjas in popular culture. They are characterized by their star-like shape with multiple points, and they were historically used by ninjas and samurai for various purposes.
Here are some key points about ninja stars:
Design: Ninja stars typically have between three and eight points, although four-pointed stars are the most common. They can be flat, with sharp edges, or they may have a more spiked appearance.
Materials: Ninja stars were traditionally made from various metals, including iron or steel. They were carefully crafted to ensure balance and aerodynamic properties.
Usage: Contrary to popular belief, ninja stars were not primarily used for lethal purposes. Instead, they served as distraction or harassment tools. Ninjas would throw them to create confusion, allowing them to escape or launch a surprise attack.
Techniques: Skilled ninjas could employ various throwing techniques to maximize the effectiveness of the ninja star. This included direct throws, ricochets off surfaces, and even underhanded throws.
Training: Becoming proficient in using ninja stars required extensive training. Ninjas had to develop muscle memory, precision, and timing to accurately throw the stars in different situations.
Varieties: There were different types of ninja stars, including bo shuriken (spikes) and hira shuriken (flat stars). Bo shuriken were often concealed in everyday objects like hairpins or nails.
Concealment: Ninjas were known for their ability to hide weapons in plain sight. Ninja stars could be disguised as common objects, such as coins or jewelry, to evade detection.
Modern Popularity: Ninja stars continue to be popular in modern culture, often depicted in movies, video games, and as collectible items for enthusiasts of martial arts and historical weaponry.
Legal Status: In many countries, including the United States, owning or carrying ninja stars may be subject to legal restrictions. They are considered weapons and may be regulated accordingly.
Remember, while ninja stars have a rich historical and cultural significance, it's crucial to handle them responsibly and in accordance with local laws and regulations. Always prioritize safety and respect for others when dealing with any form of weaponry.

User questions & answers
Question: | would you recommend these to a starter |
Answer: | 3/16" according to this http://lmgtfy.com/?q=gil+hibben+cord+grip+blade+thickness |
Question: | I have done it with a pocket knife is it easier or harder to use these |
Answer: | Dear Customer, We don't see any reason that it can't be shipped to california . We can ship this item with in usa anywhere. |
Question: | how long are these knives |
Answer: | I'm Novice at knife throwing. I've found that the center of blance is very near the edge of the para cord. However when held by the handle you feel a solid grip. I use a no spin throw and find the knive leaves the hand very smoothly with no drag on the handle as it leaves the hand as I would expect if the knife were handle heavy. |
Question: | What sort of target do you recommend for these knives? Cardboard or some sort of wood |
Answer: | Not at all. These knives simply did not want to work. They just sat there, motionless. I finally got frustrated and had to practically throw them into the target to get them to do anything. On top of that, I couldn't even find the battery panel to see if they were dead or just broken! Long story short, these knives simply don't perform short of manually hurling them at targets. I will definitely ask for my money back. |

Question: | Would these stick in a foam target |
Answer: | I believe it would depend on the foam and who is throwing. These are pretty sturdy and have some weight to them so they would stick in styrofoam, but some tougher foams with more bounce in them, probably not, especially if thrown by a child. |
Question: | Is it thick rubber |
Answer: | Hi, Thank you for your message. The rubber stars are 5 mm in width |
