Answer:	I have used one of these for my iPhone 6, 7 and now X and always there were 1 or 2 credit cards in the case. The credit cards are used once or twice a week during that 2 and a half year period. I have never experienced a problem. So, my best answer is "no".

Answer:	No it will fall out most likely especially if your phone is in your pocket or upside down in a purse, getting moved around, etc. 2 cards is safer but 3 cards is perfect. put a couple of "fake" cards or business cards or something behind it. These things are life-savers!! I have reordered several times and have given them to everyone. :-) 5+ cards will stretch and eventually rip the corners so it's best to use it for cards you need access to often. I use it for my driver's license, and two bank cards. Perfect.

Answer:	The ring and the square solid plastic plate (in my case rose gold) is a unit, but it comes separately frome the phone case. The square has a very strong glue on the back. Once glued to the case, I don't think it can be removed, unless you have a special solvent, but not sure if that would damage the case. The ring unit is not "stick it on when you need it and take it off when you don't"
