Answer:	They do make longer USB 3 cables. I have a Brother scanner with a USB 3 connection. The cable that came with it is 24" long. You should be able to find a longer cable somewhere, but I don't know if Pioneer has one available.

Answer:	This drive is for data. It's not like a DVD or Blu-ray player that you can hook up to your TV and just start watching. If you have a computer that has the right software or a smart TV that has the right software, it might work for that. Otherwise, if you want to watch movies you should probably look for a DVD or Blu-ray player. If you really want this to work to play movies on your computer, you might have to buy software to do that. Windows 10 apparently doesn't do that out of the box.
