Question:	what is the differenve between the samsung gear VR and the VR developer's edition
Answer:	Other than the actual model differences mentioned already:2015 Gear VR is newly released yesterday for Galaxy S6, Edge, Edge+ and Note 5. Mass market Consumer ready for the market. At online and traditional retailers for Chrismtas. (although currently sold out everywhere I looked. (I preordered 11/20 and I dont have an expectred ship date). Lighter weight, works with all the games and streaming services listed.VR Developer edition is last years 2014 model, works with the Note 4 ONLY, was $199 when introduced, and is no longer sold by Oculus. Only available thru 3rd party reseller retailers mostly at marked up prices ($350 is going rate). It is heavier, warmer on the head, phone runs hotter, but you are getting the 'first' edition if that appeals to you.
Question:	Does the consumer version have USB pass through so that you can charge your phone while you use it
Answer:	Yes it has a pass through on the bottom but is only compatible with Samsung chargers. Don't try to use it during gaming or 360 video or you'll end up all wrapped up.

Answer:	It does not. It's not an issue with the technology of the goggles or the phone, it's primarily that the chassis of the 4 is different than the 5, and it doesn't fit in the clasps that hold the Galaxy Note 5, and S6/S7 phones.

Answer:	It requires a phone. If it had its own display (equiv. to a flagship phone 1440p AMOLED) it would cost $400 minimum. Question:	I use reading glasses, will it compensate for this vision problem or can i wear reading glasses
Answer:	Absolutely. You won't have to wear your reading glasses while using the device. I had an eye injury that lead to have cataract surgery on one of my eyes, which makes the damaged eye not be able to see up close, and I can't even tell when I use the headset. You can use the focus knob to adjust the view for your vision.
Question:	can glasses be worn
Answer:	yes they can but you wont need to wear glasses... i have to wear glasses 24/7 and cant see 2 feet in front of me with out them. but with this being literally a few inches from your eyes everything is super clear. i also have a stigmatism.
Question:	It is work with note
Answer:	Yes it does. I have a Note 4 and I purchased the Samsung Gear VR (2016 version) and even though the Gear VR does not list the Note 4 as a compatible device, I was able to get it to work just fine. The fit of the Note 4 inside the Gear VR is kind of tight, but it works none-the-less.
Question:	Whats are the advantages of getting this new edition over the older one
Answer:	As far as I know you have three major advantages: 1) There is an aditional 'Home' button above the touch sensor on the side of the Gear, 2) It prevents light leak (at least better than the previous model) and 3) you can use it with phones that have Micro USB, and USB-C connectors. 5. Also, eyes take some time to get used to it after wore on, pls allow some time for it;

Tips we recommend to optimize your visual experience

1. Please tear off the protective film on the lens before using it.

2. Destek V5 headset is compatible with your own glasses(smaller than 5.9 *2.4 inches), also there are two pupil distance buttons that can be adjusted to suit your needs.

3. Kindly note that the image quality depends on the app and your phone resolution. We suggest you choose the

720p or above app to play.

4. We have attached a QR code inside the VR headset lid, please scan the code to set up the relative parameter,

then the phone screen will automatically scale to the most suitable size that best fits the app, also please make sure that the app you play is the latest version.

5. Please make sure the Portrait Orientation Lock of your smartphone is off before inserting your phone into the headset.

6. We recommend wiping the lens on a regular basis.

Kindly note:

1. The frosted screen protector will affect image quality. Also please take off your phone case for the heat radiation.

2. Fog due to the temperature diffrence,also we designed the mask that can completely fits your face to avoid light leaking. Please take off the headset and wipe the lens when needed.

Maximum Supported Phone Size

DESTEK V5 vr headset supports smartphones with 4.7-6.8 inches screen.

As screen-body ratio are not the same for each mobile phone, the maximum compatible phone screen is 6.8 inches while the length of the phone is no longer than 6.41inches.

That is, the maximum mobile phone suitable size is 163*83mm/6.41*3.26inch (length*width). And to avoid mobile phone is too big to put inside the lid, we recommend to take off your phone case.

For iphone 6/6s/7/8, we update additional accessory (Plastic frame+Eva Pad) for 4.7-5.4 inch smartphones.

Wear it with ease and comfort

T-shape adjustable head strap is designed to fit different people(both adults and children), also can reduce the pressure around your face.

To make your DESTEK headset more comfortable

Step 1, Adjust strap buckle on the both sides.

Step 2, Adjust top and both side velcro, strap backside should cip the bottom back of your head. Wear this strap way too high, and the headset tends to be a lot more front-heavy.
