Question:	Is the cancer-causing caramel really needed
Answer:	Caramel coloring has been used for centuries! People drink it in there sodas EVERYDAY! If the cancer risk was that serious everybody would be dying right and left. I know some people that have been drinking 2-3 Coke’s a day for over 25 years and they don’t have cancer, it’s just a scare tactic by the FDA. The super, minuscule amount of caramel coloring in this supplement is NOT going to give you cancer. You should be more concerned about the Prop. 65 warning on the label because this supplement contains lead. But nobody’s gotten cancer from that either. You’d have to eat 300 pounds of it to get cancer. EVERYTHING has something in it that “might” cause cancer! The Smartphone you use and the air you breathe might give you cancer. C’mon! 🙄
Question:	Why is there sorbitol
Answer:	Good question. As I don't work for the company, I can't give you an official answer, but I do try to do my homework. Sorbitol naturally occurs in cherries, plums, pears, seaweed, algae and in other vegan sources. As this product provides oils from algae that are usually harvested from fish that eat that same algae, as a Primary Source for these oils, a natural emulsifier like sorbitol seems like logical suspension. I didn't see any red flags with this ingredient, as a vegan--the possible negative impacts of this sugar alcohol seemed pretty few and far between. Is there something more ominous than I'm aware of? Please advise....

Answer:	The label says 1g total fat, so subtracting out the 500 mg of omega 3 would leave 500 mg of others, probably mostly omega 6. So a 1:1 ratio.

Answer:	The label pictured here shows 320mg of DHA and 130mg of EPA. However, the bottle I received is labeled 270mg of DHA and 135mg of EPA. I'm curious as to why there is a 50mg discrepancy in the amount of DHA?

Answer:	H: as the label clearly states, tilapia was used to make the gelatin capsules, not the oil. The oil is 100% from wild Alaskan Pollock. And tilapia is not “a man-made fish”. Although it is heavily farmed (which is possibly what you meant) I believe it can still be sourced from the wild.

Answer:	I have been taking these for several years and they definitely help my dry eye problem. When waking up in the morning it was a struggle to get my eyelids open (one time I woke up with strangely distorted vision, like I was looking through shattered glass), and frequently would have watery eyes during the day. This eye nutrition supplement was recommended by my opthamologist at UC Irvine and my dry eye problems are greatly diminished.

Answer:	Not at the same time because hcf was designed to be taken on an empty stomach with only a minimum 8 oz of water. Hcf is good stuff. Helps me sleep more than anything besides increased libido and function ;)

Answer:	I find Dr. Tobias Optimum Omega 3 Fish Oil is somewhat smaller but has a unique somewhat rough coating, which I prefer. Only two capsules are necessary to have 600 mg. of DHA. Most capsules require a much higher number to reach this dosage level.

Answer:	Unfortunately, Ester and not TG.
Question:	Where is the fish sourced from
Answer:	My guess would be Made in China and caught in the polluted Seas off of South East Asia. Notice how noone has received an answer on how it's made and many are confused. The bottle has an American Flag, but unless it says Made in USA it is not. So that's deceptive marketing right there. Someone else was confused and thought it was Made in Germany because the company's headquarters is there.

Answer:	Please be assured that the health and safety of our customers is of great importance to us. All of our fish oils go through a refining process and are purified to eliminate mercury, PCBs, dioxins and other heavy metal contaminants. In order to ensure that all shipments of our fish oil products meet or exceed our stringent guidelines we have adopted numerous Quality Assurance and Quality Control measures. We use molecular distillation, a process used to remove impurities from fish oil. The fish oil is passed through a wiped film evaporator at specified temperatures, enabling the removal of PCB's, Dioxins, Furans, free fatty acids and some sterols. The distillate from the reaction is considered waste, while the residue is further processed. Some heat is used but it does not affect the potency or quality of the fish oil. Specific temperatures used and further information is proprietary.
