Answer:	Road Tech much have a different model than the one we're talking about. The item shown in the photo to the left definitely does not have an S-Video port on either the front or the back. There is a single RCA video input on the front and a single RCA video output on the back. No S-video on either side. I don't know about the newer model. My comments are specifically about the VCR2PC circa 2008-2009.

Answer:	It has a USB output so it can connect directly to a laptop USB input. Old VHS players can be used but don't usually have a USB output so you need a converter box of some sort - often called a 'video grabber'.

Answer:	On the back there are two connectors: a standard RCA video output and a standard RCA mono audio output. These are the same as the input connectors on the front of the device.I have it connected with a long USB cable which is plugged directly into the back of my desktop computer. This device doesn't like to be plugged into USB hubs. It just doesn't work on a hub but it always works when directly connected. Also, I just upgraded my old desktop to Windows 10 and this old ION device still works great. I just tested it on our wedding video VHS last weekend and it converted it perfectly to a file on the computer. Just like it's supposed to. If you have driver issues try installing the PAL driver. That's what worked for me.

Answer:	With the sun shade, it's 10.25" long.. I always use the sun shade, due to lighting conditions where I shoot..

Answer:	Im really picky, and while this scope offered EVERYTHING I needed, they dont go into detail of exact reticle sizes... the reticle to me is WAY too large. At 50 yards the 'cross' area is like .5" wide at 9x. AT 50! so at 600 thats half the width of a face. TiborasaurusRex (youtube) goes over the effective range of the .223"/5.56mm regardless of scope.
Question:	Do I need a risor mount for this scope on my AR- 15 M&P model
Answer:	I put a 1" Monstrum riser rail on my S&W M&P 15 Sport 2. The biggest problem was to get the proper eye relief for the scope, I had to mount the scope all the way to the rear of the top rail. That works but it makes pulling the charge handle a pretty tight maneuver.
Question:	There have been complaints of a misaligned reticle, has anyone experienced or heard of this
Answer:	Mine is slightly off, perhaps 2-3 degrees. some have complained about that will cause elevation or windage adjustments to change too. Yes, that is correct to a point. Let's stay that worse case scenario, the turrets and reticle were canted 45 degrees off from each other. That would mean any elevation or windage would equally effect both. But for every 1 degree, that would only result in 1/45 of a change in the other. that equates to .02" for every inch of elevation/windage. So if the scope has 1/2" per click adjustment at 100 yards, One click of windage/elevation would result in (unwanted) .01" in elevation/windage movement with a reticle that was canted 1 degree off. Even at 5 degrees, that is still only .05" (1.2mm) at 100 yards. The point is if that small of an offset really matters to anyone, they should not be buying a $90 scope in the first place.

Answer:	I dont know how big your blackout pistol is, so very hard to answer ... but if this helps the scope is about 13 inches long and approx 4 inches high to the top of reflex sight. It is somewhat heavy, as it made my 15-22 about twice as much weight as it was without. However, if you have the room for it, i still think its a great little scope. I would say however that for my 22 its fine, but if you are going to do long range shooting, the optics are clear, but paralax is lacking. if you want to use 16x you better be looking at something a long way off or it will be fuzzy. Question:	Will it hold up to 338 lapua
Answer:	On our first range trip with the scopes my cousins Gen 1 6-24. Gave up the ghost after just under 60 rounds of 300 WinMag and lost the ability to bring anything into focus At or beyond 100yds. Just completely blurry at 100 yards. Meanwhile my Gen 2 8-34 Is still working like a dream 300 rounds later shooting the same model rifle and the same ammo. I’m considering buying another to put on my 338lm But I’m not sure it will hold up and although I know they will replace it that doesn’t help if it gives up when I need it

Answer:	The quality of Vortex and the lifetime replacement warrenty should give you peace of mind to try it. 44 mag means you'll have to invest in some quality rings, however. Zero will move if you cheap out on the mount with that much powder going through.
