Question:	an this be used without wifi? i don't want to hook up it to my home wifi
Answer:	The Arlo Pro cameras connect to the wireless base station using its own 2.4GHz network that's separate from your home WiFi network. The base station has a ethernet port to connect to your router, so it's pretty easy to set up firewall rules to isolate the Arlo system from the rest of your network if you so desire.
Question:	So the Pro 3 doesn't include free 7-day cloud storage like the Pro 2, even using the existing base station
Answer:	The Pro 3 system does not include the free 7-day cloud storage like the Pro 2 which makes no sense. I will be returning and going with a different brand.
Question:	I have 2 of the original arlo and 1 arlo pro. if i buy the new base station and arlo pro 3, will my older cameras work with the new base station

Answer:	The cameras run off their own little network. So if you don’t have WiFi it will still record. But if you want to view it from your phone or when you are away from the unit you will have to have it plugged up to a router to be connected to the internet.

Answer:	Cameras do not require a cable to be run from camera to recorder. They do require a power source, if u are looking for a completely wireless, try to search for wire free.

Answer:	Yes they do, they are motion sensors. They will come on when they spot movement.
