Question:	Does the slide catch work
Answer:	Yes, it works. But sometimes the bullets don't come out. So you have to take them out and put them back in or try shooting again. My four year neighbor loves it.
Question:	How far does it shoot
Answer:	It doesn't shoot far at all. That can be a good thing or bad. I let my 2 year old play with it without the bullets, and I don't worry about him accidentally shooting it at himself or someone else if he happens to find a bullet laying around and loads it. It is pretty weak and shoots a couple yards only. It is super fun to play with though, even for adults. Not for the shooting really, but for the loading and cocking, and for the realistic shape.

Answer:	No, it really doesn't shoot very well, it shoots a few yards. But the gun is still really fun to play with because of how you can load the magazine and cock it and such. If it shot as fast as a nerf gun, the bullets would be too dangerous for kids I think. Perhaps modifying the spring in it would give it some more power though.

Question:	Can you use plastic bbs
Answer:	No.. .177 metallic bb only. And if you want to keep it in good condition, copperplated ones are best.
Question:	What is the velocity
Answer:	With a fresh CO2 the velocity is 320 fps. With the blowback action the velocity will drop off each shot as it uses quite a bit of CO2. Reguardless I still love the gun. All I could recommend would be to get some extra magazines and CO2.
Question:	Has anybody come across touch up paint, a paint stick that matches the finish on the Tanfoglio Witness 1911? Serrations on slide paint missed
Answer:	It’s very close to DuPont and testers lacquer (Gun Metal grey) paints. If you do a very light spray with a black primer before painting it will make the color darker. Do a primer grey or silver base coat first to lighten the Gun Metal grey if it needs. Practice spraying both on cardboard First to color match while holding it up to the pistol. they all do get these scratches so if you paint it,it will def scratch again and prob worse. Paint cannot handle the violent blowback. Powder coating or some other similar method would need to be done to withstand all that friction. Do what I did and just sand the paint away so it’s polished like chrome or Nickel.
Question:	Will this gun accept real 1911 grips
Answer:	I have this 1911, the Colt Commander 1911, and the Gletcher 1911, all of them accepted Hogue grips with ZERO modification. In fact, my favorite thus far is the Pierce finger groove insert with the Hogue rubber grip panels. Much thinner than the one piece versions.
