Answer:	I have successfully run two bus powered HDDs off this hub, BUT it has consistently interrupted the connection on the first drive when the second is connected prompting the computer to complain that a drive was "improperly ejected". But it immediately reconnects and has not caused any data corruption yet. Just make sure you aren't actively using a drive when adding another. Or use drives with external power.
