Question:	I have the original (with cartridges). how many variations (mozart, nutcracker, jazz), etc are included with this version and how do you switch
Answer:	I also had the original version with various cartridges. This model does not use cartridges and doesn't appear to have the same versatility. I gave it as a gift, so am not sure how versatile it is. It certainly has great tone and otherwise appears to be an excellent product.
Question:	says it can be switched from classical, swing jazz, African drum. Do the blocks play the same style until switched and can a 2 yr old switch it
Answer:	Yes the blocks play the same style until switched... the switch on the back is pretty easy to push from each style of music... I don’t see it being to hard for a two year old
Question:	Does it play anything when there are zero blocks on it
Answer:	No
Question:	I'm playing with the really old version of this at someone's house and it has a cartridge "rhythms" does the new version have something like this
Answer:	No. I had the older version for my older grandchildren too, and you could purchase a number of cartridges. This new one is all in one. Has the same great tone. I bought this one as a gift, so don't know how it works. The original version was my favorite learning toy of all time.
