Answer:	Have used the spray 30 on my face. I like it. Not sure how great of a protector it is. Have read you need 1/4 teaspoon of sunblock to be effective coverage on face. Hard to guage how much with a spray

Answer:	It meets the new standards for reef safety in Hawaii, if that is what you're asking. It doesn't contain Oxybenzone, or Octinoxate, which are the two banned by the new law. However, a few of the sunscreen ingredients in this are still being further investigated both for reef and bodily safety by the FDA. That data won't be available for a while yet, so for now the answer to your question is that legally this sunscreen would be approved for use and sale in all 50 states. There is another bill that his been introduced in Hawaii that would ban pretty much everything but zinc oxide and titanium dioxide in Hawaii by 2023, however I think that would be a mistake. Nano Zinc oxide, which is in many "reef safe" sunscreens is actually horribly harmful for coral reefs, and there is a possibility that titanium dioxide has some affect as well. To really be reef safe, the sunscreen needs to contain non-nano particles of zinc and titanium, which is actually quite rare in commercial sunscreens, ruins your clothing, and is generally quite miserable to wear anywhere but on the face. For now I am choosing to use a tinted non-nano zinc oxide sunscreen on the face, and an fragrance-free chemical sunscreen, with fairly natural inactive ingredients, that does not contain Oxybenzone or Octinoxate, for the body. When more data comes out definitely proving that ingredients like avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene are harmful to reefs and humans, and/or the law in Hawaii where I am moving in a few weeks changes, I will adjust accordingly. It's also worth noting that avobenzone, which must be in all chemical sunscreens for them to be broad spectrum, breaks down very easily in chlorine, so it should never be used in outdoor pools. You would still get UVB protection(burn and some cancer), but not UVA (some cancer and wrinkles) protection in a pool after a short time, so zinc based sunscreens really are the best choice in open pools. Just look for ones that actually say non-nano(if it doesn't say it, then it's EXTREMELY likely that the zinc is nano). Honestly, I get better protection and am better about using a sunscreen on my body if its a chemical one, without oxybenzone and octinoxate, than a zinc based one. I have sensory processing problems and non-nano zinc sunscreen on my body is pretty much unbearable for me. I am hoping that the FDA will get it together and FINALLY approve the chemical sunscreen filters available in places like the EU, Japan, and Korea. Those filters are much more effective than the ones we have, and potentially much safer for nature and humanity alike, but the FDA prefers to sit on their thumbs🤷‍♀️ I hope this helps answer your question a little better than a simple yes or no.
