Answer:	We replaced a wall phone from the 1960s that would not work (dialing problem) with a new fiber optic line. The Cortelco wall phone works perfectly. The coiled handset cord that comes with the phone measures 14 inches coiled. Stretched out to a reasonable point, it measures about 3 feet, maybe somewhat more, I did not want to distort ours to make this measurement. I purchased a 25ft. coiled handset telephone cord through Amazon, made ty Steren, number BL-322-025IV, which matches the color of the cord from Cortelco. Answer:	Can't remember what was on the box, but we figured since it had to be assembled a bit and the battery had to be charged, we would do that all the day before giving it to our grandson. I decided to make a game out of finding it and arranged clues all over the house eg: go to your room to find the next clue, etc. and I had someone else put it in a room with a sheet over it and the last clue directed him to that room. Turned out perfect as he was able to get on the Scooter and ride it immediately. Have fun, and make sure he/she has that helmet on.
