When it was first invented by Dr. Washington Wentworth Sheffield, a respected dentist from New London, Connecticut Toothpaste in a Tube Is Born: In the mid-1870s, in between tooth cleanings and dental surgeries, Dr. Sheffield found time to formulate a ‘creme dentrifice’ that his patients said ‘left a very pleasing taste in their mouths,’ replacing the unsavory, grainy powders of the time. A short time later, Sheffield’s son, Lucius, came back from Paris with the idea to put toothpaste in tubes after seeing the local painters use collapsible ones – and the rest is history. Glycerine is not necessarily bad for your teeth as it is not sugar, with it's damaging effects, although slightly sweet to the taste due to being an extract of coconut oil. It is moisturizing to the gums and we only use non GMO plant based glycerin. It is what makes it a paste, instead of a powder. It is used in many health tinctures and other oral health products. The prebiotics in Revitin helps keep the oral microbiome in balance which in turn prevents tarter from forming on the teeth which then hardens into calculus over time. Regular use of Revitin will then prevent build up through balance, which works as the ultimate health goal.

Answer:	Its toothpaste... you shouldn't be eating toothpaste. Its made from baking soda and mint extract. If you actually have celiac disease vs being a "gluten free hipster" just make your own toothpaste with baking soda, mint extract and a little water.

Answer:	The ada probably gets hundreds of toothpaste requests to be approved. My orthodontist and past dentists have both recommended this along with sonicare tooth brushes.

Answer:	I have used this for years, so I honestly can’t say and it depends on the current health of your teeth. If you drink dark beverages, coffee, sugary drink, dip, or smoke all of these will have a negative effect. What you consume matters. If you want something a little quicker To start you off, use the whiting strips, but once again if you smoke, drink dark or sugary beverages you won’t have the best outcome of the product.

Question:	does the packaging and tube come printed in English or French
Answer:	I use both and they are not the same. I brush with the Closys, then floss, then with a dry toothbrush, brush with Fluoridex for a minute, leave it on for a minute more, then spit and don't rinse. My teeth and gums are terrific. The Closys is like regular toothpaste, without the sulfates, while the Fluoridex helps with sensitivity, and strengthens enamel. When I was first prescribed Fluoridex more than ten years ago, I was told it was not a replacement for regular toothpaste, but more of an additional step to take at the end of your oral hygiene routine. If you scour the internet, you can find Fluoridex, but it's cheaper at the dentist's office.

Answer:	I find this toothpaste to be very mild. Although there’s a hint of a mint taste, it’s not at all strong or irritating. I bought this,product to help with some gum discomfort from cancer treatment. I’ve been very satisfied.
