My dentist was going to charge me over $550 for one made for me, but I just can't figure out how I would make it clean enough after awhile, so these fit the bill for me, and it will be quite awhile before I amass $550 worth of these. Answer:	I generally use one for 2-3 weeks at a time and haven't noticed any issues doing so. I just use one until it feels worn out (they do get "softer" over time). I used to wear "daily" disposable contact lenses for a week or more as well without any problems. I could be wrong, but it seems to me these companies want you to go through their products quicker than necessary so they can sell more products.

Question:	After molding, is the bottom molded to both top/bottom, or is there a flat plate onthe bottom? (I'm looking for one with a flat plate
Answer:	I’m not sure I use them at bedtime for teeth grinding, I don’t know anyone that sleeps with dentures
Question:	Will these work for a 9 year old girl
Answer:	It looks like it’ll cover all your teeth, top or bottom before you go through the molding process. I only tried one out of the 6 in the package. There is significant shrinkage once you put them in the hot water. Maybe I left it in too long or it was too hot. Anyway I use that one I made and it work for what I need. I wear it on my top teeth so I don’t grind at night. There’s no way my top and bottom teeth can touch with it in. It keeps a gap between the teeth.
Question:	Where is this made
Answer:	Not sure what you mean by "reused". Once you've molded it to your teeth, you can use it multiple times. You should replace it, as recommended by the manufacturer. They don't last forever. But, they can be worn repeatedly.
Question:	Is this Made in china
Answer:	Yes, you’ll have to go through the molding process for both. I only did the top teeth. With the guard in, there’s no way my bottom teeth can come in contact with the top teeth.

Question:	Can I use this with dental crowns
Answer:	Definitely! I have 9 crowns overall--all from TMJ treatment 20 years ago--and these work great!
Question:	how to use
Answer:	For me, it seems to work best with the zig zag piece across the bottom of the teeth, and though I have a lot of room in my mouth, I use it on the shortest setting. It seems to fit better if it doesn't cover several teeth, but just the first molar. This is like other mouth guards I have used....they tend to misalign my teeth, which float back where there supposed to be. I really do not know how that can be good for my teeth, and I probably still grind my teeth on the spacer, just not against each other. I have gotten sensitive teeth because of grinding, and I do wonder if you still grind on plastic, will the sensitivity go away or am you stuck with it? A question for my dentist next time.

Answer:	I don't think so. This is made for an adult mouth. My kids have retainers to stop damaging their teeth. They look just like retainers for keeping teeth straight and they work like a charm. You have to get those fitted at an orthodontist or a dentist that does Invisalign. Most charge $50-100.
Question:	If you like the old one better, were you able to get used to the new one? Or did you find something else? I loved old one, and hate the new chunky
Answer:	I hate the new one too! I bought this because the close up picture is like the old ones, and I was surprised when the package arrived. I started having terrible tooth sensitivity on my upper cuspids and realized it was due to the new mouth guard. I readjusted the guard and the sensitivity is not as bad, but I really don't like the new version.

Answer:	It might. I have a very small mouth and it fit me after I trimmed it.

Answer:	I bite my tongue and inside of my mouth, and a mouth guard helps. You probably grind or clench so if the guard is thicker between the teeth it helps a lot. Using my top guard works best.

Answer:	Children need to be able to swish and spit, so mouthwash for children is not recommended before the age of 6. Occasionally, younger children will be given medicinal mouthwash prescribed by a dentist. If you are on a municipal water supply, fluoride is already added to the water in levels determined to be safe by the EPA. Well water does not have Fluoride so you should consulate with your dentist or pediatrician or family physcian on the best way to make sure your child(ren) have the amount of fluoride they need to help prevent tooth decay.
Question:	Does wearing guard on your bottom teeth cause extra saliva? Hoping it does for help with dry mouth at night
Answer:	Unfortunately , the watertank has single hole in midway back with a removeable door flap. Run warm water thru the top spout to clean the pipes from top to bottom, remove watertank, then let water out thru hole and shake. Rinse off parts of the model. This model is harder to remove all water--and when you use it AM and PM, it is hard to evaporate thru little hole. However, you can insert a paper towel to catch the water as you shake it. This model is cheaper than the big wateropen tank. It does the job tho.
Question:	Are these more comfortable to wesr on the lower or upoer teeth
Answer:	It is indeed somewhat noisy, most probably due to the vibration; however, closing the bathroom door makes it quite a bit less so for others. I can easily hear a TV program as long as my husband has the door closed. It is extremely efficient so well worth it, in our opinion.
