this is simply a piece of 20 GA (~.0.036") thick stainless steel sheet (albeit hardened/tempered high-carbon stainless steel per Lamson's web site) with straight-cut blunt (non-sharpened) edges and (arguably) a decorative walnut handle (see my other review but both of mine have flawed walnut handles and/or flawed installation of walnut handles) ... really a generic "scraper" that could be used for scraping cutting boards, griddles, varnish, paint, rust, etc., etc.
