| Answer: | Its about 60% nylon and 40% boar, no question about it. If you zoom in to the picture, thick black strands are nylon surrounded by thinner boar hair. "100% boar bristle" in the description is misleading. I noticed nylon strands as soon as I took this item out of the box. Big disappointment. I almost returned it, but after trying it, I find it is not entirely bad. Nylon bristles are a little scratchy, but not too bad. Price is reasonable, in my opinion. I am keeping it, but every time I use it I think to myself "I cannot believe they described it as 100% boar bristle". |
