Answer:	I followed the instructions down to every last word - 6 times. Yes, the spool clicks in, but you still have to get the lines through (there are two). Each time, no matter what I did, what I tried, the spools would completely unravel themselves around the trimmer or whatever I tried to trim. It was a mess and a waste. Haven't used it since. And because you have to order 6 at a time, if I order them again, well, that means I've just spent more on the spools than the trimmer itself.
