Question:	Can you embroider with this machine
Answer:	Even though this machine is not an embroidery machine, you can learn to do beautiful embroidery work on it by learning free motion embroidery. In fact, one of the cool presser feet that comes with this machine is the open toe darning foot, which is a bonus!... People who wish to embroider, use this foot to do so. You Tube has many fine videos that will show you how to do free motion embroidery, on a regular machine, with just an everyday wooden hoop. Just type in free motion embroidery tutorials in the you tube search area, and you will be busy for hours, learning to this method. Enjoy!
Question:	Is this easy to use
Answer:	Depends what you want it for. Simple sewing like clothing or piecing quilt tops should be okay - putting quilts together NO! The throat is not big enough for free motion quilting and it doesn’t do well with bulky material. Your needle will snap, bobbin will have a nervous breakdown and you’ll get error codes that will make you want to pull your hair out when you try to clear them. But if you set on buying this model or the CS6000i here is the skinny - it is easy to use if you stick to the book or YouTube for help and FOLLOW the step by step instructions. It’s a cute machine for newbies but an albatross around experienced quilters necks

Answer:	Because it's a review, some reviews aren't anything more than "it sucks". But for only 150 people out of 2,000 people don't like or understand the machine, that's pretty damn good.
Question:	is this one suggested for a beginner
Answer:	This would be a GREAT machine for a beginner. I've sewn for at least 60 yrs and have had machines that cost as much as $2,000, and to me this is the best. I'm an avid believer that one should read the manual first and recommend for you to do this. You will be able to nicely grow into this machine and should have no regrets with the purchase. I love idea that you can sew without using a presser foot, but can control your stitches on the front of the machine. Love to be able to see when the bobbin is getting low, various speeds, even some decorative stitches for you. It's quiet, fun, light weight for taking to classes, or for my motorhome. Can't say enough, I JUST LOVE THIS MACHINE, it's all I could ever want. Please read the manual. Hope this helps. JMD

Question:	Where does the auxiliary spool pin fit? On the bobbin winder? There's no hole on the top of the housing
Answer:	The location of the Auxiliary spool pin hole, on the Singer Simple model 3232 sewing machine, is indicated in the instruction manual on page 4, number 16. There is a filler cap in this hole that you will need to remove in order to insert the Auxiliary spool pin. The filler cap appears to be just a small round circle. You will see a small hole in the filler cap where you insert a straight pin to pop it out of the machine. Answer:	Yes, even for a novice like me, after reading the manual precisely, and try to sew couples of times, I can easily handle it by myself now. However, you need to be patient if you are a freshman, do it slowly, and dont rush it hard.

Answer:	The machine does not do monogramming. You would need an embroidery machine to do that. You can however sew very small alphabet letters so you could write someone’s name. I bought this to take to quilting classes because it is lightweight. You can buy an embroidery only machine for approx. the same price and usually the combination machines are higher in cost. 1. Manual is very important.

Always try to read the manual, no matter you are experienced or beginners, manual will help you with better sewing experience. The manual has its own gold house. We also made accessible video with subtitle for you  to start. With these, sewing won't be difficult for you.

 

2. Wide applications on sewing fabrics

This is sewing and quilting machine, fabric no thicker than 5mm works fine with Z6 sewing machine.

Your fabric will determine the choice of a needle and thread. There is table in our manual which is a practical guide to needle and thread selection on Page 10. Always refer to it before a new sewing project. And be sure to use the same size and type of thread in the bobbin as in the top thread supply.

 

Warm prompt:

1. If jam happens, you can check from below aspects:

a. Top thread is not well threaded

Make sure thread pass all the slots as in the manual and retry.

b. The top thread tension is not appropriate

The bobbin tension has been correctly set at the factory, so you do not need to adjust it. Just need to adjust the top thread tension, 90% of your sewing will be done with the top thread tension control set at “4”. You can have a trial test on the fabric before start the main project.

 

2. The feed dogs don't come up

a. First, make sure the feed dog control is right in the position. When turn to right side, it is push down and then to the right, like an "L" as showing in the manual.

b. Rotate the hand wheel after switch to the feed dog side to see the feed dog raise to the right position.

c. Restart the sewing machine.

3. When want to use letter mode

a. Use Satin stitch foot (Z).

b. If you want to larger the space between letters, don't forget to use manual adjustment buttons.
