In addition to the regular controls, there is a separate cool shot button you can press while using a hot setting that gives you a shot of cold air while you hold down the button (and when you release it, it goes back to hot).
Question:	How to remove the filter? Seems tight
Answer:	TWIST IT OFF ~ DO NOT SNAP IT OFF! I used a 'grip cloth' for opening jars and just TWISTED the filter cover to the LEFT; it came off easily. To put it back on securely repeat the steps, but TWIST it to the RIGHT. *There were no instructions and I considered 'snapping it off' as was suggested in one answer when I could not twist it off. DON'T = BREAKAGE!!!

Question:	How can I get the attachment to stay on
Answer:	Actually the two attachments (combs) can stay strongly on the styler by sliding it onto the styler. However, the bristle head is really too wide to stay long enough. That is my experience with it. What I tried to do is to do it slowly and carefully and mostly tend not to use the last attachment because of this but i guess this is not what you should be doing with your styler it should be easier to use all the attachments.

Question:	Never had problems with the brush attachment falling off, but several users made note of that last year. Taken care of
Answer:	I use the brush attachment from my old dryer, it stays on. The fins to hold it on are slightly thicker than on the new brush. It is disappointing that it is sold this way and that I have to use an old brush on it.
Question:	I love the conair 1875 hairdryer but the combs keep breaking is there any way i can order more combs
Answer:	I've used this and similar Conair models for about 12 years. I never use the brush but I use both comb attachments. They will be fine for daily use for more than a year, then one day a tine will break. Once one breaks off, others will break too, sometimes half the tine, sometimes the whole tine. There is a form in the box to order replacement combs for approx. $3. I usually order 3 or 4 at a time. There are so few models on the market with comb attachments, I keep buying variations of this Conair model. (I tried to buy a UK or European model with a comb, for travel, but there are NONE at all for sale. Fortunately, this one switches easily.)

Answer:	According to Conair cusomer support, they are identical, with the GMT900R being a more recent model. When reading through the descriptions of both, I could find no difference with the exception of the price. I bought the 900 for my son and he loves it. Some of his friends have seen it and they've purchased the same product because they liked my son's so much. Hope this helps you.

Answer:	The longest setting is 5 mm and the shortest is 0.4 mm.

Question:	Is the charger 110-220? Can i charge while traveling
Answer:	no, but you can put advanced lithium batteries in it.
Question:	If the battery dies during a cut, can you cut while it is charging
Answer:	Yes! 100-240v AC input / 3v output adapter included.
Question:	How short do these cut? I want a 0 which is basically shaved as short as possible without using a razor and shaving cream. Anyone else do it this way
Answer:	It should just clip back on, if you are holding the blades on their own, unattached from the main body, sorry you have broken it
Question:	Can i use this to trim my beard
Answer:	The trimmer does not come with a charging dock that I am aware of. You just plug the trimmer in, charge it, then use it.It should be noted that they recommend charging it 16 hours before the first use to fully charge the battery. This is only for the initial charge, subsequent chargings last only about an hour or two.
