Answer:	These are normal solid bars of soap. They stay that way as long as you want them to. If you want them to be soft or liquid, you would have to soak them in water.

Answer:	I use it on my 87 year old hair!! We have soft water, and it rinses out thorouly....no need for conditioner. My hair is permed, but it feels so soft, squeaky clean. The lavender has a very pleasant scent. I have used the bar, but I think I will try the liquid....for shampoo and as a body wash.

Question:	Is this soap gentle enough for your face? I don't like to use body soaps on my beard as they can dry out your skin and contribute to a bad shave
Answer:	It is a gentle soap in my opinion, but since every person's face is different I can't answer for you. I have used it on my face and shaved immediately after with no ill effect. I use a Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream and a good quality after shave lotion as well, though.

Answer:	Not that I know of. I use this for it's a quality soap and the scent reminds me of my grandmother's house when I was growing up

Answer:	Each is packaged in a sealed box, no wrapping paper inside just the soap bar.

Answer:	It might have to do with the "hard water" in your area. I lived in a small city with extremely hard water, and some bars cracked. They don't now since I've moved to a large city. Best wishes.

Answer:	I've had this happen to me regularly over the years with every brand of bar soap I ever used. It never occurred to me to wonder why it happened, I just used the soap until it was a sliver. Now, I think that over time, the ingredients may dry out a bit but the soap part is still good. Just stick the old bar to a new one & continue using it. Repeat as needed.

Answer:	I have no idea. I suggest Googling and going direct to the Pre de Provence website and asking their customer service via email or phone as they also sell soaps on their website. I've ordered from there as well as here. Especially if in a rose soap emergency on here. I honestly love their soaps, they make your skin soft and have natural fragrances and vegetable based soaps. A bar lasts for months .

Answer:	The Green Tea Soap is richly scented with exotic, sensuous and woody notes.

Answer:	All of the pre de provence soap scents are mild, and do NOT linger for hours. The milk smells like milk with honey and the darn soap lasts forever. My daughter loves them because any scent that is too harsh sets her off into a storm of sneezing. I don't know how the moon dance smells because it is in the closet awaiting to be be mailed with other Christmas gifts, and the scents are so mild that you really can't smell them through the wrapping. I've purchased almost all of their scents and have never smelled myself (nor been told) that the smell was offensive.

Answer:	You can and you may ... Occasionally onlyI do it sometimes when I run out of regular shampoo but it might leave your hair a bit dry despite the shea butter ingredient

Answer:	Yes, the pump in unlocked and you have to push and turn to activate it for the first time. After, you will just have to push gently so that it dispenses the soap. Enjoy!

Answer:	Hi RB: Here are the detailed instructions for opening the pump/dispenser:1) Screw the pump onto the bottle, hand-turning the ribbed collar, to the right (clockwise) as tight as you can. It is very important that it screwed on tight as this allows the "beak" to unlock.2) Holding the collar and lower base of the pump with one hand and the "beak" with the other, turn the "beak" to the left (counter-clockwise).3) You will feel the "beak" begin to unscrew. Answer:	Hi: I would be happy to provide some clarification for you.First, benzisothiazolinone (BIT) is used as a preservative in our products at a 0.005% concentration.We develop, consult, and test our products with a team of PhDs and MDs.Without a preservative, our products would barely last 3 months on the shelf. With benzisothiazolinone, we are able to guarantee a shelf life of two years from the date of purchase. Benzisothiazolinone is the safest preservative approved for use in laundry products. By law, all laundry products must use a preservative from the EPA's approved list. Benzisothiazolinone has the lowest risk of side effects at the recommended concentration on that list. In 2005, benzisothiazolinone underwent a review process by the EPA to determine its re-registration eligibility for use in a range of products and applications. After considering the overall information on its toxicity, uses, and environmental effects, the EPA concluded that it posed no harm to the population. It is approved for use in cosmetics and items that come into contact with food. It is approved for use by Whole Foods in cleaners and cosmetics. It is approved on their Eco Scale. It is also approved by the EPA's Design for the Environment (DfE) as a safe, effective, environmentally-friendly ingredient.It is 100% biodegradable.It is often used with Methylisothiazolinone, which has a higher risk profile and is less environmentally friendly.
