| Answer: | The instructions aren't very clear on this but you have to take the storage pouch on the back of the cover and flip it inside out. You should see a blue strap that's meant to be the strap for the tote ( it's underneath a little flap so you may not see it at first). You can then roll up the the cover from the bottom and stuff it inside the storage pouch, but I prefer to take a little more time to fold it because it makes it look like the picture. Here's how I do it:Step 1: I do the inside-out thing with the pouch then lay the cover flat and turn it so the back is facing me. The two wings on the side should already be folded in.Step 2: I fold both sides toward the middle over the wings so the two sides are touching but not overlapping (this will later make a rectangle as opposed to a square, which I find to be more bulky).Step 3: I fold it up in thirds from the bottom so that I'm left with a rectangle with both of the leg holes facing up. Step 4: I push the rectangle into the pouch (note that the front of the cover rolls in on itself to form the front of the tote), making sure that it's as flat as possible and all four corners are pushed completely out. This whole process takes me around a minute when I really try to get it perfect but, like I said, it works just as well if you spend ten seconds just rolling the whole thing into the storage pouch :-) |

I'm having problems with that right now hurting my lower back. My daughter is 20lbs right now so I just carry her in my arms at this point. I'm 6ft male. 180lb. So all I'm saying is that the back support really does make a difference if you are a woman. My wife has been using it still, but her lower back hurts because she can't carry her in her arms all day. Try the cheap one first at your local babies r us. If you don't like it return it. |

| Answer: | I'm currently a Target size XXL in tops, size 20-22 in bottoms and I found this carrier extremely comfortable. It is adjustable in all the places I need it, and I have no problem getting enough strap extension. It's my favorite (of 6*, sadly, and most way more expensive, argh). My husband prefers the Infantino Newborn Unison because it has straps that cross in the back, and its stretchy fabric feels super comfortable and... maternal/paternal somehow - and holds the baby closer to the body than any of the others (our kid pushes back a lot). The biggest worry is that eventually the Convertible's thin strap padding (come on, at this price point, something has to be less than perfect!) will wear out - but I found a backpack strap wrap for extra padding, so this is still top for me. *Baby Ktan, Onya Outback, a water moby-like wrap, Infantino Mei Tai, the 2 listed above, and I tried a friend's Ergobaby |
