| Answer: | If you're able to install this successfully then I think it should keep a cabinet door secure in the event of an earthquake. The problem I had was that the lock broke during installation, snapped clean off! I was unable to install the product, but the glue was very strong, if it had worked I'm sure it would have been secure. |
