Answer:	You cannot fill the bag up to the top when it’s open. Only as far as you can still close the rigid frame to zip it. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It isn't small enough to actually fit under your airline seat, I have the tote one and that is a good one. I am not sure if it will fit all airline overhead compartments. It is a great travel bag though, I have all of Lily Bloom's products.
