The pad will need to be hand washed with warm sudsy water, rinsed clean and air dried. We cannot suggest using bleach or other harsh cleaners, nor can we suggest dry cleaning. I do want to clarify for you if the padding is washed/dried in the machine and it becomes damaged, this is not covered under warranty as all machines are different. That is why we recommend to hand wash/air dry. This will also be outlined for you in the product manual that comes with the booster in the event that you need to refer to it in the future! Question:	Does this seat fit with 3 car seats across one seat
Answer:	It would really depend on the size car you want to use them in. A compact...I doubt it, mid size...maybe, sedan, or minivan...should be no problem. I think they're about 20" across if you count the width of the arms, not the width across the bottom which is more like 15" or so. We used this one in a jeep grand cherokee along with a full size carseat. There was room for a 12 year old in between but it was tight and not that comfortable for the passenger.

There are 2 level to ground lines on the shell of the seat used to determine proper angle for installation. For a child between 5 - 22 lbs the bottom level line on the shell must be parallel with the ground, having the seat fully reclined. For children 22 - 40 lbs who can sit up unassisted, you may rotate the seat between the two level lines for a more upright position. Answer:	Yikes! I had all 3 of my children in a 5 point rear facing until 2, and 5 point front facing latch until 5. A 10 month old is far too tiny for less than 5 point harness for many years, please choose safety not price.

Answer:	It is MUCH simpler to latch and unlatch than a normal harness car seat. Also, it is not absolutely necessary to use the latch system (I believe I read this in the instructions), because the latch system is just there to keep the booster in place when a child is not sitting in it with the seat belt on.

Answer:	It says it's a 2-point recline, but I haven't tried it. I don't think it does, but I don't have the option for it to recline in my car. So it's possible if your seats in your vehicle recline

Answer:	it installed perfectly on my jeep patriot also in a chevy and Ford escape truck...you have to put the latch on the back of the carseat that has gap that you can pull it through

Answer:	16"!!!My son had an Eddie Bauer that was supposed to fit him until he "didn't legally" have to sit in it. We had to get a new one once his little legs started growing he just wasn't comfortable. This Graco car seat has the head rest and the way he sits in it he falls asleep every time we get in get in the car if it's longer than a 15 min ride!!! Love the seat; took it to a saftey inspection and was told that it is one of the better seats on the market. We love it!!!! It adjusts to them there is a lever in the back to make them more comfortable and do much safer than the booster seats alone. It has a place to slide the seatbelt in to make sure it is positioned properly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Answer:	I'm sorry, are you sure she's 8 and 36 pounds? That would have her off the bottom of the charts for growth. 5% is 45 pounds at that age. If she's that size/age, I think you'll need to assess whether this is a viable seat for her.

Answer:	My 6 yr old granddaughter is using it and there is plenty of room. We use it with the shoulder/lap belt combined. I wouldn't use any booster with just the lap belt.

Question:	How does the shoulder belt clip work? It it attached to the seat somehow
Answer:	The red belt clip is adhered to the rear of the Chicco GoFit Booster seat using a web fabric strap. The clip attaches to the vehicle shoulder strap using the open slot in the clip. The instructions demonstrate the proper placement of the clip. The only problem is that the position does not stay constant. Whenever the child reapplies the seat belt, the clip must be readjusted which should be done properly by an adult. I bought this booster because of the shoulder belt clip, but it doesn't work as well as I'd hoped. My seven year old grandson doesn't ride with me frequently so I have some time to work with another way to make the strap stay more firmly in place, perhaps adding an 'S' type buckle. Answer:	It is a forward only facing seat, called a combination seat. That means it can be used with a harness and later as a booster seat (harness removed). It is best for kids around 3 & up (preschool), but it is not an ideal choice for really tall or long torsoed kids b/c the harness slots are not that high. 😊
