Answer:	I use this device to measure the water temperature in my old fashioned ceramic crock slow cooker by filling the crock with water, placing the probe into the water and setting the temperature to on at low setting and off at high setting. I plug the slow cooker into the thermometer, and turn it on high to get to temperature(adding hot water from the sink to shorten this wait time) then low for cooking. Answer:	I don’t have the round halo, but 28x36. It is ok for make up...but my old vanity lighting with 4 open round bulbs was much brighter. Having said that, I live these mirrors, we just installed 2 in our master bath and 1 downstairs bath. We also have canned lighting, I would recommend more lighting than just the mirrors if you like bright bathroom and don’t have natural light to assist.
