Installation Steps

1. Slide the swivel mount into the slot in the strap block. Make sure the retaining lug shaps up to lock the lug into the place.

2. Locata one end of the swivel mount into the mirror cavity.

3. Pull back the mirror lever and lower the other end of the swivel mount fully home into the mirror cavity. Push the lever fully towards the swivel mount so that it locks the mount into position.

4. Unclip the two retaining straps and pass them around the headrest. Clip the straps together and pull them tight to securely fasten the mirror.

5. Adjustable the mirror angle so that you have a clear view of your child from the car's reaving mirror. It will be easier if you have an assistant to help you.

Question:	How wide does the spring clip open up
Answer:	The widest it will open is 4 1/2 inches, but I wouldn't recommend clamping it on to something that wide. The widest item I would try to clamp would be 4 - 4 1/4 inches.
Question:	How do you attach mirror to clamp? It seems as if it should thread together but mine does not
Answer:	There's a red knob that you turn that tightens the top and bottom grip onto the rearview mirror itself. It's one piece that just slides behind the mirror and attaches and you tighten the grip on it. It's very simple. I had mine installed in both vehicles in less than 30 seconds.
Question:	How would it work in a larger suv
Answer:	I've 2013 Nissan Pathfinder & it works great for me!!
Question:	So need this for a long drive to keep a watch on our kids. is this acceptable by law in all states
Answer:	There are no laws that prohibit use of this product in your vehicle.

Answer:	I would assume it would but I am not sure. I just have it attached around the headrest.

Answer:	If a Nissan Altima has a head rest on the back seat then yes: it should fit. This has adjustable straps that strap it to the head rest facing the rear facing car seat. Then you can see it and the baby in the rearview mirror.
