Answer:	Yes you can loop it through the hole in the hospital ones. I didn't really like it because the fabric from the rope would rub against the face.

Question:	What is the length of the ribbon portion? I see a dimension of 7.9" in the description, but I wasn't sure if that includes the clip and loop
Answer:	The ribbon (without the strip and the clip is about 8 3/4 inches in length. So, I am not sure how they are measuring the 7.9". I measured from where the ribbon is attached to the clip to the bottom of the ribbon.
