Question:	Can I use this item on my arm rest
Answer:	Yes, I use this on the arms of my sofa.
Question:	Does it leave a sticky residue when removed
Answer:	Very little. I removed them from one couch and moved to another with no problem. However they are very sticky so you might want to save the paper that comes with them in case you need to move them. I put them on wax paper and it was a little difficult to then remove the wax paper to reattach them

Answer:	I would think so, but I wouldn't recommend using the screws included they're like push pins very weak. I put training tape on the door frame with scratching post next to the door frame.
