I didn't understand that the bouncer bars actually slide into the slot and the screw you insert holds them in place. I had to back track a few steps because the picture didn't do the best job explaining the bars go IN BETWEEN the two plastic pieces. I hope that makes sense.

But would say they used the thinner plastic at the zipper to make it more pliable to zip. I think it won’t hold up. It is good for a quick trip but not to use long term or as a make-up case etc.
