Answer:	You need a floor jack having the plate (part which contacts the car frame when you lift) that is removable. It just lifts out typically. The bottom of that plate has a large pin which sits into the lift arm of the jack. The pin diameter of this adapter is 1 5/32", and needs to fit in the hole of the jack that your plate comes out of. So this won't fit on a cheapo jack, nor would you want it to.

Answer:	The product is made in China, as for the warrenty I dont know, I have been using these jacks for the last 25 years,in my ten bay shop where we pull and install two to three transmissions a day as well as two to three fuel pump tank combos a week. We also use these jacks in our salvage yard operation where we pull three transmissions a day. I have four of these and they last a average of about two years before the seal starts to leak at the ram. The american made models worked no better and costed twice as much. I can afford to throw them away every two years compared to the overpriced american models.For the money these cant be beat.

Answer:	I think it was 1 year. The unit is really sturdy, and I can't imagine trouble with it.
Question:	Will it do a semi transmission? 13 speed
Answer:	The capacity is 1000 lbs. Seems I remember someone trying to use an engine hoist to take out a semi transmission and it blew the seals. You really have to know the weight of the transmission. Even if the jack can technically support the transmission's weight, does the transmission have a symmetrical weight distribution or is it heavier to one side. That could make this dangerous if you were working from underneath. I would really do some research and try to find some first hand experience of pulling out the transmission that you have. Otherwise, you may be going blind into a world of trouble.

Answer:	No the adjustment knobs are not made of metal, they are made of plastic.
Question:	Does this thing actually weigh 30 pounds as listed on the website? Also what is the low to high lifting range
Answer:	Actual weight, it's heavy - I didn't put it on a scale. On the low-high lifting, I can say that we used it on about a 8" lifted old Chevy, lifting a 700r4, and it worked well. Unfortunately, we had this model for less than a year - we did one transmission and it went well, but tried a second, on a heavier sm465 in a different truck (no lift kit) and the hydraulic lift failed on this model, dropped the transmission & screwed up the clutch too. It's cheap, worked well on one job, but if you're looking at using this on a regular basis for work, I wouldn't recommend.
