Answer:	As an optician for over 30 years, sadly, nothing I've found short of a 2 part epoxy/resin will work...but only .temporarily. plus you'll probably get it everywhere including the lenses. I suggest visiting your local optician. I have tons of discontinued frames and can usually hand-edge the lenses if its a close fit . Question:	Would this work on thin rubber? Other super glue I used in past actually basically melts thin material
Answer:	I bought it because I was told that I could use it on my Halloween tombstones which are made of styrofoam. Other superglue melts the foam and this does not so I would think that it will probably work on your rubber as well. It is the strongest glue I have come across. when it sets, your item will stay fixed. In fact, I have used it on rubber. the tip of one of my sneakers came off and nothing would hold it back on. Well, Rhino Glue did and that was rubber to leather on a curved area.
Question:	How does this compare to gorilla glue for holding strength
Answer:	I haven't tried gorilla glue so I can't really compare. All I know is I researched the rhino glue and decided to purchase it to fix my convertible top. It worked like a charm. I'm very satisfied.

Answer:	It is sandable. However, this is for bumper repair, rubber bumpers. It's meant to be somewhat flexible. I would use some other product designed for fiberglass. Just resin with hardener mixed in of course may work fine. It is also sandable and you'd have identical compounds.

Answer:	Can be ground down, filed, sanded, tapped and painted. You can use 1000 grit paper it would really depend on how much excess you have. You may have to file or ground down first.Hardware Plus Tools

Answer:	The difference is, that JB Weld Quik is 50/50 both cream, and Q bond is powder/ liquid, meaning, that once you mix it, you only have 4 minutes to apply on the affected area, and With Q bond, you have more time because you first apply the powder, then the liquid, and the strength, I would say, is almost the same, it all depends on the material.
