Question:	Would there be an issue pulling with a atv on a gravel road? the trip would be just over a mile round trip
Answer:	I pull mine almost a mile one way with my truck. The terrain I’m pulling it on is a dirt road full of pot holes and ruts. It rubs on a few places but the plastic is very durable. I suggest investing in some solid tires.

Answer:	By now, hopefully you have received yours. It's 13 plus months since you posted. I ordered mine in hopes that it would arrive in time for a planned boon-docking trip. The estimated delivery time worked well with my schedule. But the most recent shipping update said that it had not yet even been prepared for shipment and the new ETA was 3 days after my planned departure. Will comment with my own review when/if I ever receive mine.
Question:	Does this tote come with the handle/hitch or not
Answer:	According to the manufacturer, it does. However, when I purchased this tote from Amazon, it did not. I had to contact Barker to get the handle.
Question:	Does it have the auto stop fill shutoff like the theftford tank
Answer:	Hi Joann, the tank has a fill guage that shows how full the tank is getting. I don't think a shutoff on the tank is a good idea because your hose connection from your camper to your tank could still be full. You could not disconnect it. But with the gauge you know when to shut off the valve on your RV to stop the flow into the line going to the tank. These tanks are not made to have your sewer run directly into them. They are made to empty your tank into when IT gets full. We bought the 42 gal so there would be no issue of more in the RV tank than the Barker could hold..I think most travel trailers tanks are no more than 40 gal. Hope that helps; feel free to ask for clarification if not. (added) to be precise it is a float indicator that reveals how full the tank is getting..

Answer:	That's how I've been doing it but with a 3/4 gallon Dollar Tree ice tea jug. I don't fill it up but use it to mix the powder then pour it down the grey drain and then a treatment for the black tank. I then just flush the toilet and run the faucet in the kitchen sink.

Answer:	I believe it is a natural bacteria...have been using it in our Rv for almost two years and have never had a problem. No odors and it works! One note, when you add it to the toilet, make sure to follow the instructions, i.e. Add the water, then the powder and STIR it until it dissolves.

How It Works

The RhinoFLEX 15-Foot Sewer Hose has a bayonet-style fitting that connects securely onto your RV's sewer outlet. A collapsible hose assembly extends up to 15-feet from your RV to the dump station, and the steel wire allows you to shape the hose so that it will stay put.

On the other end, the 4-in-1 adapter fits any sewer connection and secures to your hose, eliminating the need for weights to keep it in place. The transparent elbow allows you to see when your tank is empty. Answer:	First thing I would do is to remove the old one and see the length that exists - typically around 9" long. There are 2 types of materials used -- aluminum and magnesium ! Magnesium was the original type in my 2018 suburban hot water heater .

Answer:	No this can not safely store gasoline. This is designed to hold sewage and nothing else.

Answer:	This 3 ft hose connects from the discharge of my travel trailer into my tote. I think maybe you need the longer hose or possibly the adapter. There is an adapter with the 15 ft Rhino Flex hose that I have which connects at dump locations.

Answer:	by trial & error, i put a line on a chopstick w permanent marker. i hold that line flush with top of 3/4” hose opening & use it as a dipstick. i watch to see the water rising for when i shut off my dump valve. The Design

The inside of the tote tank is smooth (so that it doesn’t trap odors or debris) and sloped toward the drain hole (making it easy to empty completely). The large, no-flat wheels have bearings to make them sturdier and have a large circumference to make going over rough terrain easier. The bottom of the tote tank features an integrated ladder hook and tie-down grooves, allowing you to hang the tank on your RV’s ladder when it is empty.

The top of the tote tank features two separate water inlets: one is an integrated tank rinser that can be used with a grey water hose. It has an easy grip connector, backflow preventer and multi-directional spray that helps clean away debris from the sidewalls of the interior of the tote tank. The other water inlet is a male connection that can be used with the included 15-inch female to female orange grey water hose.

Filling Your Tote Tank

When dumping your RV or trailer’s waste tank, you will need the clear double bayonet elbow and the 3-foot super heavy-duty sewer hose with bayonet and lug fittings. The clear elbow with double bayonet ends securely attaches to the waste inlet on the tote tank and allows you to see when your tanks are empty. The bayonet end of the sewer hose securely connects to your RV or trailer’s waste valve and has a gasket to ensure a secure seal. The lug end of the sewer hose connects to one of the bayonet ends of the elbow. All bayonet and lug ends on the sewer hose and elbows swivel for easy use. Before filling the tote tank, attach the steel tow adapter, as it can be difficult to put in place after the tank is full. Remove the cap on the water inlet to vent air and make filling easier. Take care to not overfill the tote tank.

Moving Your Tote Tank

After filling the tote tank, replace the waste inlet cap and water inlet cap, and make sure the tank rinser cap is tightly secured. These tote tanks have large, no-flat wheels for use on any terrain. They also feature a durable, oversized handle to make pulling the tote tank more ergonomic. If the tote tank is too heavy to transport manually when full, included is a removable steel tow adapter. It allows you to tow the tote tank slowly behind a truck or golf cart.

Emptying Your Tote Tank

When emptying your tote tank, you will need the included sewer hose and the bayonet to 4-in-1 clear elbow. The 4-in-1 adapter securely screws into any standard sized dump station sewer inlet. When you are ready to dump the tote tank, securely attach the sewer hose to the integrated tote tank waste outlet with gate valve and to the dump station sewer inlet. Remove the cap on the water inlet to maintain airflow. Then, open the gate valve and allow the waste to flow out until empty. The low drain hole and smooth, sloped interior of the tote tank make emptying easy. Be sure to close the gate valve and replace all caps before bringing the tote tank back to your campsite.

Cleaning Your Tote Tank

The Rhino Tote Tank features an integrated tank rinser water inlet that has a multi-directional spray to rinse the interior tank sidewalls. The tank rinser has a backflow preventer to keep contaminated water out of your hose. To rinse the tank, attach a grey water hose or a standard garden hose designated for sanitation use to the tank rinser. Using the easy grip connector, turn on the water and rinse. Alternatively, the included 15-inch female to female Rhino grey water hose can connect to the other water inlet/vent and any standard male water connection to fill and flush the tank with water more quickly than the rinser (but without the multi-directional spray). The vent/water inlet does not have a backflow preventer, so the included hose is bright orange to designate it as “Grey Water Use Only.” Once the tote tank has been thoroughly rinsed, the dirty water can be emptied in the same fashion that waste is emptied into a dump station.

Storing Your Tote Tank

The tote tank waste inlet, integrated tank rinser and water inlet all have designated caps, plus lanyards so that you don’t lose them. The 3-foot sewer hose compresses for storage and includes storage caps to prevent drips during storage. The bottom of the tote tank has an integrated ladder hook to hang on your RV ladder. Only hang the tote tank on your RV ladder when it is empty. The body of the tote tank has grooves that are designed to accommodate tie-down straps. This helps you keep the tote tank in place while it hangs on the ladder.

Question:	can you add deodorizer to give it a scent
Answer:	I am unsure what connections you have on your hose. This attaches to a standard tank connection without leaking. Our camper is put away for the year so I could not check for you at this time.
Question:	Is there an expiration date for storing this product? Do the probiotics die after a certain lenghth of time
Answer:	Not sure - you can get a 5' extension sewer kit, and their 20' sewer hose pictured on Amazon looks like they joined 2 x 10'. While ours is the 15' one, you realistically only get 13' distance. Perhaps contact Camco themselves, since previous replies seem contracdictory.
Question:	I add water softener and blue Dawn dishwashing liquid to the talk. Will this destroy the bacteria? Thanks
Answer:	Mine didn't even last a few weeks. I travel often, so disconnecting/reconnecting happens often. The threading where the black hose connects with the orange parts (connectors to the RV and the ground sewer system) have threading sort of like that of a garden hose, where you can screw/unscrew its parts. Once the parts are off, I could never connect it, and even at these connections sites, it was always loose, making it completely useless! so now, I only buy the DOMINATOR hose. Much better and very pleased with the DOMINATOR instead. I have never had a problem with my other choice/purchase and it's much more reliable and better made.
Question:	Walex bio-11530 bio-pak claims you can use regular toilet paper. do you have to use rv toilet paper with this product

What are Struvites

In 1845 a scientist in Hamburg, Heinrich named Chistian Gottfriend Von Struve, discovered that gases released from decomposing sewage mineralize and cause sewer tanks and lines to be coated with cement-hard crystals. It is a problem in sewage and waste water treatment facilities all over the world, but only recently has it been discovered by TankTechsRx to be in most RV Holding Tanks.

These crystals build up in the line below the toilet, in the corners and on the walls of the tank, and especially on the sensors. In fact, struvite is the leading cause of black tank sensor failure.

Why do they matter
