Answer:	I don't completely understand the question, but the threaded ring is about 1/4" wide it's a plastic ring and can't be tighten too tight will strip the threads, I feel the threaded ring is the weakest link of the adapter. Answer:	No. It's male end is for a 50 AMP service and the female is for a 30 AMP "supply". To say it another way, it's for the RV sites that only have 50 AMP and you need 30 for your RV. There are other similar electrical conversion plugs that will enable a 50 AMP rv to plug into 30 AMP.

Answer:	I'm electrician. It lets you plug into a 15 amp receptacle and plug in a 30 amp cord into it. The lower value is what I go by and it's wattage is 1800, a 14 gauge, good for not more than 15 Amps. The device plugging in into the female side should not be rated at more than 1800 watts or 15 ampere. Just an observation from the values given about the device. To be ositively safe, buy UL aproved or similar certified electric devices.

Answer:	I've had instances when a regular outlet was not available at the campground power pedestal, so this adapter works great to provide that connection. Just be sure that you don't exceed the 15 amp rating; I would make sure that the total of all devices (if you are using an extension cord or outlet strip) doesn't exceed 1800 watts total. I would not plug a space heater into this, because I'm pretty sure that most space heaters require more current than this adapter is designed for.

Answer:	The extension cord can support the (continuous) use case provided by the generator. As long as the circuit breaker on the generator for the 14-50R outlet is for 50A or so, it should be (electrically) safe. But I can't answer if it's "OK" because there's a LOT of electrical safety issues involved here that the question doesn't address, such as whether this is for backup power for the mobile home, whether there's a transfer switch involved, whether 15' is far enough to keep carbon-monoxide from getting into the mobile home (or neighbors homes), electrical grounding issues, noise issues, etc. You really need a licensed electrician involved.
