Answer:	Many "GRBL" boards will run with either as the Pololu 8825 is pin compatible with the 4988.

Answer:	Yes. GRBL 1.1 does have a different pin mapping than 0.9... However, this is a very easy fix. Before you flash to 1.1H (12/28/20 current newest) you can edit the CPU.Map file and change the PWM pin to the one that matches your 0.9 build.

Answer:	I do not know what your level of computer experience is. It is easy to find the wiring code online but you will need to figure out how to interface with your motor driver system. I am using a PoKeys controller with Mach 4, so cannot help you with that. When I got it working, I was and am very happy with it. It makes moving to a desired location very quick and easy.

Answer:	If it is a 4-barrel intake manifold it should work. Sometimes the fuel line or linkages have to be modified.

Answer:	This is a square bore carb, just like a Holley. If the manifold is also square bore, it will bolt right up. If spread bore, you will need an adapter.

Answer:	Hello Clayton, the 1409 ellerbrock is the replacement for the Carter AFB. You'll find that there are some subtle modifications like the fuel line will need to be or replaced if you're using a hard metal line.the throttle cable ball location is just a shade off so you will need to adjust the throttle cable other than that this is a perfect carburetor and it is safer because it has the anti flashback feature.. happy boating
