Answer: | While this is an excellent product for older engines....it is not necessary for newer cars. I use it on all my older classic cars....up to about 2004. The ZDDP is basically a zinc additive that the petroleum industry was mandated to remove from newer oils...unfortunately zinc was required for older engines as it keeps the lifters and camshaft in the older engines from destroying themselves. The design of the newer camshaft and lifters along with the new additives used in the newer oils, gives your engine and components all the protection they need. If you are worried about engine protection buy a good quality synthetic oil like Mobil 1. It is far superior to any conventional motor oil and additives that you can buy. But if you drive or maintain an older vehicle (2004 or older) or have any off road engines, (ATV's, etc.) I would highly recommend this products use with the conventional oils available, (as they do not contain any zinc additives). |

Answer: | Funny you should ask this. I put a small amount in my small compressor sometime ago and have had no problems.( I work with plastics). I have used Prolong oil and transmission products for many , many years and swear that the product is and does EXACTLY as stated. I have given these products to friends and family for gifts. I always tell them when they have the oil or transmission fluids changed. NOT to give the Prolong to the mechanic unless they are trusted. Put the product in YOURSELF!. I always do this myself. I drive a 1996 Ford Explorer 4x4 with now 235k miles. Still has plenty of power for a 6 cyl. I'm sure the compressor would love a SMALL amount . |

Answer: | Just an FYI the VW FSI engine is noisy because it’s early Dorect injection technology. The noise from that engine is mostly from loud injectors and hpfp fuel pump. Also the n80 valve can make a ticking noise as well. This product will help in terms of lubrication but if you’re hopes are to make it less noisy then it won’t do much |

Answer: | If your following how much quarts your manual says your fine. On my rav4 I added 1 can of this and 1 can of ceratec, my oil level did not change much. I also did the same thing on my Challenger 5.7 but instead I did about 1 can and plus half of another can. Your fine as long as you follow your engine capacity. |

Answer: | I change my engine oil every 10,000 km or 6,250 miles with Liqui Moly engine oil and use the Anti friction Oil treatment every time and every 2nd oil change I also use Ceratec. My Audi A4 B7 quattro 3.2L V6 has over 300,000 km. I have another A6 Avant with over 275,000 miles or 440,000 km. I always use Liqui Moli otherwise I will use Revenol Syn oil. |

Answer: | it is much better. Graphite is not near as dense or strong as molybdenum. It also can resist higher temps and last longer on the engine before replacement (about 12,000 miles). Prius owners are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to use this as their engines come with moly coat on the cylinders already to deal with start stop technology (which reduces the oil layer between engine parts when the engine stops). As far as anti friction and cylinder sealing goes, it would be zddp (doesnt seal, just reduced friction), graphites (seals and reduces friction, weak), moly (does the same much better), HBN (hexagonal boron nitrate, which is way better than moly), and tungsten disulphide (better than any of the others for sealing and reducing friction. lasts a long time, withstands extreme temps). graphite, moly, HBN and tungsten disulphide are in whats called the graphene family. They do restore damage and reduce friction. They are all apart of the same molecular family. Restore, this product, ceracote, and any product labeled ws2 (tungsten disulfide) will all do the same things, but with different effectiveness. Just look up graphenes online to see how they work. |

Though you don't have to do it, S-50 lengthens the oil life and coats engine parts, so you might want to add it at your oil change, unless you just changed it in say 500 to 1000 miles. However, if you want to add it to dirty oil, it will not hurt...your choice. |

Answer: | I had an old Toyota with oil leaks. I used Slick50 for many years and it didn't effect the leaks at all. But it was a 20+ year old car. I don't think the stuff is made for repairing leaks, anyway, once they're there. |
