Answer:	This jacket has very good airflow. I live in the southeast where the temps get in the mid 90s and up, this is why I purchased it. Quality is good. I chose white for the heat. It’s difficult to put on my black jacket in the summer sun.

Answer:	Yes, While fueling my Softail I experienced a splash back soaking the front of jacket with gasoline. After removing the ce armour the jacket was run through a Gentle cycle with Tide liquid detergent. Upon completion jacket was placed on hanger and allowed to air dry. Once completely dry I replaced the ce armour and continue to use, the like new jacket, on regular basis.
Question:	I bought this jacket, the white color, and the padding is the yellow foam and it shows very obviously, as opposed to the pictures, is that normal
Answer:	The padding has two sides: yellow and black. You can always switch them as you like. Yellow is a bit prominent that's why it shows, so I'd suggest to switch it to black.

Answer:	This jacket does NOT come with a liner. There are no zippers or anything to attach a liner to. I think people are confusing liner, something that unzips, and lining, material inside the jacket.

I have 4 different jackets I use, depending on the weather, and they all have some sort of attaching device for a liner. I'm going to say it doesn't come with a liner. Nowhere in the product description, does it say anything about a liner.

Answer:	Hi, I recently bought a similar jacket with a zip out lining. It's a size "Large" and I'm 5'6". Sleeves are probably 1" too long, but Velcro around the wrists makes it a non-issue. My recommendation is whatever "windbreaker" jacket size he wears should be the riding jacket size he wears.

Answer:	It is a fair weather jacket. The mesh is fantastic for hot weather but won't be waterproof
Question:	How is the CE armor supposed to go in the jacket? The label says yellow side to body but all the armor pieces have the black side to body
Answer:	Mine came with armor already in jacket so it was never an issue. Upon inspection black side is facing body and yellow facing the air. This makes sense too since the yellow side is the hard side that will slide on pavement and resist puncturing while the foam side will soften the blow and stay protected by the yellow side. Had mine on for 3rd time today and zipper broke. So I'm returning

Answer:	Not sure on size. I have 40 inch chest and Large fits me well. This is a vented jacket -so air gets through, but I sometimes wear a windbreaker underneath the jacket and it still fits fine.

The elbow and shoulder armor in the Direct Air has been upgraded to a completely new composite material.

CE approved Core Force Active armor technology made of polyurethane foam is soft and flexible, but hardens and absorbs upon sudden impact.

New REISSA Removable Membrane

One of the major changes for V3 is the addition of a REISSA waterproof, breathable membrane. Unlike the rubbery, heavy liners used in some products, REISSA is a lightweight breathable material that keeps water out while allowing heat and moisture to escape the body.

The result is a jacket capable of flowing tons of air, or transitioning into a shield against rain and wind when the weather turns.

CORE Chest Protector Compatible

All Pilot jackets are compatible with our unique line of CORE Chest Protectors.

CORE Chest Protectors attach to female Velcro sewn to the inner wind flap of the jacket. This allows the rider to position the chest protector vertically according to their personal preference and frame size.

Rolled Neoprene Collar

The Direct Air V3 has a rolled neoprene collar. We found that most riders want mesh jackets with as little collar as possible, while still retaining some protection from the elements when the weather gets nasty.

The Direct Air is the perfect median between too much, and too little. The right cut, coupled with soft touch neoprene makes for one of the most comfortable collar setups we've ever ridden.
