Answer:	This kit replaces the factory push-and-turn knob on hard bags. I doubt if it will work on soft bags, but if your bags are held on by two knobs that push in and turn it might work. It replaces that backing plate with a screw-in attachment so the new handles screw in to fasten the bag tightly to the bike.

Answer:	Hi, there is a lock washers that comes with the LocEzy kit they may be talking about the ones from China that come with a knob and a nut.. if you install the LocEzy’s correctly, as the instructions say, tighten them until the lock washer is completely compressed and the rubber grommet will start to bulge out from behind the flat washer.
