Answer:	I've had mine for about 5 years. Lately, it started leaving some dust particles so I looked up about washing. I washed it in Woolite and LOT of dirt came out so I re-washed it even. It took many days to dry in my hot garage. It's still leaving some dirty spots so I'm just going to buy another one. They're pretty cheap.

Answer:	I have never heard of anyone having this product damage their paint in any way. I've been using this brand for over 25 years on every thing from my daily driver to a freshly painted restored muscle car. I keep one in my Corvette at all times. Go to about any cruise-in and you'll see one in each car there.
Question:	How to clean it
Answer:	DON'T clean it, that will remove the wax in the brush. Just shake it out as you use it. It actually gets better with use.
Question:	CAN TOU USE IT ON WOOD FURNITURE
Answer:	Absolutely, especially smooth finished wood. wood furniture usually calls for a light polish now and then, the fibers have a light coating on them, which wouldn't be heavy enough to streak it anyway and I've never seen damage in the +20 years I've used them. I start a duster out on a car, then use it on my boat, and then as it's at the end of its life I use it on glass and furniture. Great product, just shake heavy dust out of it after every use and don't wash it.

Question:	Can you wash the duster after it becomes dirty
Answer:	I am on my 3rd California duster in 15+ years. I use it to rid pollen in spring, general dust throughout the year, and airborne salt in winter months of NH. I personally dislike the factory applied wax on the duster as it leaves some waxy marks on the paint and windows when right out of the box. This leads me to put it through the washing machine I order to wash out some of the wax. As months of use go by, I spray either McGuire’s quick shine or Chemical Guys’ quick shine to the mop. This I’ve found is a better solution than the wax. As other responders have stated, use on cool paint and do not rub/mop hard. This could cause hairline scratches and spiderwebs in the paint. If the dust/ dirt will not come off, either wash the vehicle or use a waterless car wash product. These mops are a must have for people who like a clean car!

Answer:	Years and years long as you keep them in the bag and only use it for dust on the car and spray them with the water hose every now and again

Answer:	I would not use the dash duster on any inside finishes at all. I used the big duster on car itself and it left streaks of oil and covered it in lint bits all over. I had to go get car washed and haven't used it since. This does not work like the 'Calofornia' dusters I've had before. Perhaps it needs a few more uses on dustier cars before the oil-rich strands lose their potency and stop leaving streaks behind but I'm not going to find out in one of my cars.

Answer:	The duster is designed to not need to be washed very often. Just shake it out after you use it, to remove any loose dust or particles. If you feel like you need to wash it, please do not machine wash. Hand wash with water and a mild detergent such as dishwashing soap. Hand knead and rinse to remove any loose particles trapped in the dusting area. Then just allow the duster to completely dry in a well ventilated area, rotating the duster from time to time to allow the entire 360 degree microfiber surface to dry. Then place the duster back in the provided storage bag.

Answer:	It looks like a standard thin broom handle would fit into where the handle that comes with the duster. fits. As long as it is 7/8- 1.0 inch diameter range. If it’s a little large you could always sand or whittle it down to fit, plus run a screw through it to hold.

Question:	Should you leave it set out to air before using
Answer:	I like to put a new one out in hot sunshine for several hours before first use, That allows the wax to settle in.These get much better with use, never wash.
Question:	Can this be used on laminate flooring
Answer:	Yes, the specially formulated wax infused 100% cotton fiber threads are safe to use on laminate flooring. Although our dusters were specifically designed to lift dust off of automotive finishes with a minimum of wax residue, we would recommend to use caution for a flooring application. Please keep in mind that adding any wax product ( however slight ) to a floors surface will help protect it but may cause the floor to be slippery upon initial application.
Question:	Can it be retreated with the oils after accidentally going through the washing machine
Answer:	We do not suggest washing your Car Duster head, however your duster can still be used for its intended purpose. It just won't collect the dust as well as it would have with the wax on it. We do not suggest adding wax to your duster head, since the wax is infused with heat at the factory.
