Question: Es compatible con bordadora tajima
Answer: Yes, sewing machines has a light for seeing what you are sewing.
Question: Is Essentials included in Level 3 or is it something different
Answer: Yes, I do sew pillows for our hospital out of fleece/cotton, it does fine. You need to clean it, to keep the fuzzies out. It’s works out fine for me, so far.
Question: Can this use with the Designer Epic from Vikings
Answer: I use the thread that comes in little spools, some came with it. I haven’t changed the needle yet, but assume it’s a generic needle. It’s a good machine for small projects. It becomes unthreaded very easily, that’s a pain. Easy to take along.
Question: Do you have to buy all levels separately or can I jump straight to level
Answer: It comes with everything you need to get started. The foot pedal and power cord are not connected when its shipped, but the outlets are easily distinguished between the two.

SA3 has the most options for input and publishing, making it the choice for stock design creators and professionals.

How do you use StitchArtist?

Most users will begin by importing a background image of a design that they want to embroider. They will then create ‘objects’. These objects are the shapes that will be stitched in the design. Those who are familiar with any modern drawing tool will feel comfortable with StitchArtist as it uses a Bezier model of shaping; even so, StitchArtist also includes a 'spline' drawing mode that makes object creation easy, even for those who have never used drawing software. Shapes can also be imported from True Type fonts for digitizing and alteration.

Once you have created your shapes, you can apply stitch properties to each, and can alter their position and sequence, as well as any of your stitch settings at any time at the click of a button.

  4. Simulated spline entry makes shape creation easy for users unfamiliar with Bezier making creation easier to teach, while SA allows editing with the precision of Bezier curves on items after they are generated.

StitchArtist Level 3 includes Level 1 and Level 2 and is designed for those who truly love to create designs and for digitizers working commercially in machine embroidery.

User questions & answers

Question: Does this program have knockdown capabilities
Answer: Talk to the seller. He should know.
Question: What is rhe difference between Level 1 and Level
Answer: I installed this on a Juki DLN-415. Bolted right up. Removed 3phase clutch type motor. Best option, love the adjustability and the ease of installation.
Question: How does this program work with Brother's embroidery machines? Does the machines read the designs from this program
Answer: I bought this same motor and yes it does not seem to go at the slowest setting. I built a pulley reducer for my machine and that really helps getting the machine down to a slow speed with lots of torque. Another thing to consider is removing the brake in this servo motor so you are able to hand turn the machine without having to slightly depress the pedal. I think it is a good motor. It just needs the reducing system.
Question: What is the difference between stitch artist 1, 2 and 3? I'm very confused as to which one to buy. Thank you
Answer: They work together. The speed control puts a given amount of speed / power on deck, but the foot pedal, within reason, transfers power and dictates the speed of your stitch - just like driving a car. However, if you have the knob turned way down you can floor the pedal and nothing is going to happen. Conversely, if you crank the knob up, just touching the pedal will rocket the stitching mechanism into movement.

User questions & answers

Question: Year software published? want to know how old it is as no reviews. will it work on the brother aventura (model blmav) embroidery/sewing machine
Answer: As for Embrilliance Essentials, yes, it will work with your Brother machine. My Brother machine is .PES format, and there are many formats to choose from with this program. Yes, there is a trial version of Embrilliance Essentials available you can use for a period of time, however, the trial period just doesn't allow you to save anything. I'm slowly but surely taking my time and learning to use Embrilliance Essentials. It is a very good program and I'm very happy I purchased it.
Question: If my computer crashes will I be able to redownload this software onto a new compatible pc
Answer: Yes, 4x4 (100mm x 100xmm) machines usually have a multiple-position hoop available, and those are built into the Essentials software. Splitting is automatic. There are also hoops built-in for Janome GigaHoop and a couple others. For bigger machines and more advanced hoops, you can get Enthusiast.
Question: So is this a disc or usb
Answer: Embrilliance makes AlphaTricks for that purpose. You will also find many alphabet collections now come in the .BX format which means you can use the lettering by typing in, similar to a built-in font. And you don't need any purchase for that -- Embrilliance let's you run those fonts with the free version.
Question: How long does it take to receive code
Answer: You can't convert or save files in .art format, so if your Babylock is older and uses only .art files, Embrilliance won't work for you. It works for any other format, though.

Question: What does "no color" mean? Are you saying that the software only displays in black and white
Answer: Yes works with my brothers pe800. You put in what format you want.
Question: Is this compatible with the Brother LB
Answer: I bought #1 and am not happy with the fact that it is very basic and does not let you digitize your own art. The only thing you can digitize are the fonts and art they provide in their program. Other wise it is a good program but now I find I need to buy more software. They provide a little more with #2 and if I am not mistaken, #3 has all the features including 1 and 2. I'm going to call the company direct to be sure before I invest in anymore of their software.

User questions & answers

Question: Can you use a MacBook with this
Answer: I also was curious, and went to the website. It definitely states that it works with Windows 10. Great program. I have Embrilliance Essentials, Enthusiast, AlphaTricks and Thumbnailer. Love them all. If you don't already have any of them, I suggest you look into them. It's amazing what you can do with your existing designs. Because Embrilliance programs are very user-friendly (and affordable!), I now have my sights on StitchArtist 2.....
Question: Does the PE800 have the ability to reverse and redo or go back over stitches in case the thread breaks
Answer: You will be using the File Explorer that is actually on your computer. This does not use an internet browser because you are looking only at files that actually reside on your computer's hard drives. Look for the Folder icon or press the Windows key + E and File explorer will open. That is what the Thumbnailer uses. Hope that helps.
Question: What software do you use to convert hus formatted designs to be used on this machine? thanks
Answer: Since designs are not stored on the software, so there is no limitations that I can see. This software allows me to see my thousands of embroidery designs in small to large icons. It works very, very well for me at a very reasonable price.
Question: Can this machine embrodier on leather
Answer: No. It's a software to view your designs as a thumbnail when opening a folder on your PC. So instead of just seeing the name of the file you see the actual design as an icon in your folder. It's bern a lifesaver for me because you don't have to open the design to see what it is.

Product features

Multiple Hooping

When you want a design too big for your machine, we've got your back.

Embrilliance Enthusiast automatically splits embroidery designs into multiple designs which tile together. Our splitting drastically reduces visible ‘seams’ that occur from manually splitting files. In most cases, the final product is indistinguishable from one created on a larger-field machine.

Multi-position hoops allow you to hoop the fabric once and generate the design by sewing it in multiple sections. However, you can achieve the same by re-hooping multiple times. We call this a “Virtual Hoop" & Enthusiast comes with many hoops and virtual hoops defined.

Aligning multiple sections is accomplished automatically with multi-position hoops, but to make it easier for regular hoops, Enthusiast adds basting stitches!

The Mega Hoop, Plus Hoop, Jumbo Hoop, Dream Hoop, Hoop-It-All, and others are pre-loaded. You can even use regular hoops in a side-by-side arrangement so your sewing field is now wide as it is tall.

Baste Hoop

With Essentials, individually selected embroidery designs can have a basting stitch added automatically. This is useful when you want to add a layer of stabilizer or some other material before the sewing of a design.

With Enthusiast, a basting stitch can be added to the hoop, which allows for a layer of topping stabilizer to be basted in place before any designs are sewn. A typical use of this is to add a layer of water-soluble topping to a towel, which will prevent the terry cloth loops from coming up through the embroidery. It can be hard to hoop a towel, and the topping stabilizer will want to slide around before the stitching happens, so basting it first can make the process easier.

Advanced Thread editor

Beyond the Essentials palette creator, the Embrilliance Enthusiast editor lets you make your own embroidery thread brand charts and even pick colors directly from web pages or PDFs.

The color grabber tool will let you click in any window and pick up whatever color is under the cursor. This is very useful when you are building a thread palette from a document such as a .pdf or a thread manufacturer’s webpage. If you want to adjust the color visually, use the HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) sliders until you get a color that you like.

Knockdown Stitches

The incredibly useful knockdown stitch tool has been included as an exclusive tool in Enthusiast!

When sewing on terry or any fabric with loops and nap, generally a topping stabilizer is used. These can be helpful, but have a limitation: They do not hold down the nap after the design is stitched and the item is watched, which means outlines can be lost in the surrounding fabric. Using Knockdown Stitches you can create a global underlay for the entire design. The underlay extends a few millimeters past the edge of the design, which helps the overall effect.

Mirroring, Repeats, and Scatter

Set up corner designs to repeat automatically and place them in the extreme corners of your embroidery hoop instantly, or set up a design to repeat with perfect spacing in rows and columns. Scatter reproduces, rotates, and scales your design for a whimsical arrangement!

Carousel Features

Arrange designs in a circle with set spacing repeats and oval shaping! Create design arrangements in the round easily!

User questions & answers

Question: Will this work on my Brother NQ 1600e with 6x10 hoop
Answer: Though this comes as a CD, you can download the newest version from Embrilliance.com/downloads and use the serial number from your package to register the software, even if your computer doesn't have a CD drive, you can install Embrilliance!
Question: Can i use this in a pe770 and how would i go about it? what else do i need to buy
Answer: yes you can
Question: I need roses, borders, birds etc. Not so much alphabets or numbers. Would this be right for me
Answer: It can use BX installable fonts, but in order to resize stitch-based BX fonts (which make up most of the fonts available from 3rd party sellers), you will need to also have Embrilliance Essentials. My personal recommendation for most users who want to both create and manipulate files is to have Embrilliance Essentials for working with stitch files and for the included 13 native fonts, Embrilliance Enthusiast for stitch-by-stitch editing and precise positioning, and Embrilliance StitchArtist 2 for versatile digitizing tools. If you are using native object-based BX fonts like those sold in Embrilliance's Font Collection 1 and 2, those can be used and resized excellently even with only StitchArtist, and you can change fill type/underlay. Both types of BX fonts are very useful, but native fonts open up more options. If you choose to create BX fonts of your own, that is a feature of StitchArtist level 3.
Question: does this have fsl or ith designs
Answer: Yes, manually.

Answer: If your macbook is adaptable with the embroidery software you download for patterns.

You don't have to guess as the machines' needle and hoop will backtrack or fast forward in real time. So if the hoop slips or the thread breaks you can start back exactly where you had the error.
Question: Can you use this with jef format
Answer: Brother does have software called PE-Design that can import this file format and convert it for use on this machine.
Question: Bbrother dream machine what embrodiery software does it use

Grow with your Skill Level

StitchArtist comes in three levels to suit different skills and needs; you can always purchase upgrades and move to the next level of skill and complexity as you learn.

Level 1 is designed for a hobby embroiderer who needs simple digitizing software able to create stitches without expensive software or complicated, time-consuming tools.

Level 2 is designed for production and skills training for those who would like to create more sophisticated embroidery designs including corporate logos, and offers a wider cross section of tools and stitch types that allow the creation of virtually any design.

Level 3 is meant for those who truly love to create designs or for digitizers working commercially in machine embroidery. It includes advanced tools for shape manipulation, a much wider set of stitch types, and tools that enhance both artistic interpretation and efficiency. SA3 has the most options for input and publishing, making it the choice for stock design creators and professionals.

User questions & answers

Question: I . will product work with brother se
Answer: mp you can a lot in essential but it will have some expanded features not available to you in enthusiast. You can try out the whole embrillance program for free. just cannot save anything until prochaseded.
Question: Will this work with the brother pe550d embroidery machine
Answer: The initial package comes with the fonts listed fonts, but there is an extensive base of free and inexpensive fonts as Embrilliance is the only software that supports the BX format used by many digitizers and stock design companies online. More fonts are available in Font Pack 1 and more are being released in the future. There's no limit, but our clients have since enjoyed reasonably priced software that allows them to build their own chosen font library.
Question: will this work on a brother SE
Answer: No, Enthusiast is made for stitch-by-stitch editing as well as the single-click Knockdown stitch for high pile materials, precise positioning, design splitting, and more, but if you'd like to explore digitizing with the Embrilliance Platform, see the StitchArtist line of products. They do not digitize automatically, but they give you all the tools you'll need to create shapes and assign stitches using raster art for your backdrop or, if you choose StitchArtist 2 or 3, by importing, editing, and assigning stitches to SVG and other vector files.
Question: I only have a 4x4 hoop on ny brother se400. will the designs fit
Answer: I have had this software for three years and it does a wonderful job of working to remove stitching, changing color sequences etc. I use this with a full system of another software by BUZZ TOOLS which I use to work with lettering, changing sizes quickly, etc. so between the two both of these work equally well but I use the Embrillance Enthusiast and the other embrillance packages the most. I am mulling over getting the Level 1 of the stitch artist since I want to make my own appliques for my customers but have not fully committed to the purchase of $179.00 yet

User questions & answers

Question: I have a Baby Lock Accent, 4x4 field, almost 20 yrs old. Have been using the Magic Box Elite, just got a new computer and the Magic Box is outdated. Is this the same as a Magic Box but only does PES format? Will I have to do anything to this brand new computer to make this converter box function
Answer: I can only tell you that the designs worked very well through Pe-design 11, on my 4x4 hoop in my old Brother Quattro Innnovis 6000D. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
Question: Is the PED-Basic software compatible with the PE500 Brothers embroidery machine
Answer: You sure can. You would need to transfer the design(s) you would like to stitch out to a smaller USB thumb drive. The 770 will have trouble reading a large thumb drive like this one.
Question: will this work on a brother
Answer: Plenty of those in this collection. Not sure why someone mentioned that these were mostly alphabets. Far from it. Just about every category is represented in this collection. Hope this helps

User questions & answers

Question: Does this allow you to put your letters into a circle or arch
Answer: Not sure what the first part of your question is, but the upgrade requires you to own StitchArtist level 1. If you want to get StitchArtist 2 immediately, purchase that, and you'll have all the tools from StitchArtist 1 and 2. As far as compatibility, the Embrilliance Platform does save the standard brother PES format among many others, so you will be able to save files in a compatible format.
Question: New to embroidery. If I have a disc and install on my computer how will it communicate with the sewing machine
Answer: When purchased on Amazon it comes with a disk.
Question: If I have applique letters, can I resize them without changing the size of the satin edges
Answer: Although the product information does not directly list the machine formats (including .jef format), a highlight of the main picture of the back of the item does show the machine formats that it is compatible with. I didn't see that info in any of the description, and think that it should be included in the description of the item. It is compatible with the .jef embroidery machine format.
Question: Can you use alpha tricks without the embrillance software
Answer: I believe you can use most any software for any machine; you just have to save your work in the proper format that your particular machine works in. My Brother single needle requires PES format and my Ricoma 15 needle requires DST format.

Product features

Create typable fonts from individual letter designs!

Turn any collection of letter files into a keyboard-ready font you can use either in AlphaTricks alone or with any of the tools in the Embrilliance platform with our intuitive font-mapping tools. When you map your stitch file letters to a font, you'll be unlocking the ability to create multiple lines of text, set text on a curve, or to alter the size, slant, and relative position of the letters with the feature-complete text tools built into the Embrilliance platform.

Scale up stitch file fonts without losing density!

When you scale your font files mapped in AlphaTricks, the Embrilliance embroidery engine recalculates stitches to keep your embroidery densities uniform.

Map monogram fonts, too!

Position-dependent monogram fonts can be mapped to allow automatic positioning of correct left, center, and right letter glpyhs for your monogram layouts.
