Answer:	It depends on what material and what type of die you are using, but the “base model” stack that I use most is: plastic cutting plate—- material to be cut—-die (with cutting side down on top of the paper)—-magnetic shim (if you have a more intricate die with small cut outs)—- plastic shim—- plastic cutting plate!

Answer:	Actually, I purchased a longer magnetic platform that the same length as the extended platform. Works great!

Answer:	I have been using the platform and the normal two plastic cutting plates. So far I haven't needed any shims. But, remember each machine is different, so if your machine is not as tight in the rollers as mine might be, you may need a shim. I really like this magnetic platform for the wafer thin dies. I don't think you will regret buying one.

Answer:	Spellbinders Nestabilities can definitely be used with the Sizzix Magnetic Platform. I use it all the time and love it.

Answer:	It will fit to work in your Big Shot but it it's thinner so you will have to use shims to get the texture you want. I tried to do the same but bought the Sizzix Embossing set and very happy with the emboss and only had to do 1 revolution.

Answer:	If you upload your own pattern (pieced together before upload to design space), and it's under 12x24, yes. So it would work for a bodice with princess seams, a gored/sectioned skirt that's under 24", cap or short sleeves, and various other smaller apparel pieces. So it wouldn't take all cutting out of the picture, but you'll get more done in the time you take since you'll be cutting multiple pieces at once. But unless they come out with longer mats, it's unlikely that it could cut pants, though shorts could be feasible.
Question:	Can it cut patterns for adult clothes like pants, skirts, blouse, shirts, etc
Answer:	Yes - I have used it in my Big Shot. However... Be sure that your cutting pads are newer (and flat) otherwise the magnetic pull isn't as strong. I used this product for my Christmas cards and after experiencing the problem above, purchased The Genius Platform system. It was wonderful, didn't cut into the cutting pads and had no issues with the magnetic platform. I would recommend this product over the Sizzix one.

Answer:	I don't know but I have never had any luck using the metal plates, but I want to get the word out-there main big plastic plates are the worst ever. If you have heard some people are using self-healing sewing cutting mats to replace the big cutting plates--I kid you not I cut out the side of a trash can to use for my cutting plate with my Gemini and it is working FANTASTIC I guess it must be just thick enough to work, was hard to cut out but I did it. Used tin snip scissors--does not cut into matt-after a cut it goes back down and lays flat.

Question:	How well does this juicer handle celery bunches
Answer:	The juicer is very high powered. The juicer needs to be cleaned after the pitcher provided is full. I juice celery bunches with great success.
Question:	I was using this product for a week. One day juicing my vegetables, then all of a sudden the machine stop working. What could possibly be wrong
Answer:	Mine stopped working after a few uses. The motor was loud and eventually smoke appeared. I was juicing celery and lemon. Can I get a replacement or refund if the box has been thrown away?
Question:	How do i take off the stainless steel grinding basket
Answer:	Do not try to pull up the grinding basket. Feel around and pull up the black assembly that basket sits in gently. Practice a few times and it will become easier.
Question:	Are you able to juice without peeling and cutting the fruits and vegetables
Answer:	I don't peel anything but the oranges because the instructions clearly say that the thicker skins could damage the juicer. The only time I cut something up is if it's too big to go into the feeding area. Otherwise I don't do any extra prep.

Question:	Is there a big difference between the big Shot and the plus, width wise? It appears to be minimal according to the measurements
Answer:	No, it does not come with a rubber mat or texture pad. It comes with the platform, A & B plates and two clear cutting plates. I am able to use the rubber pad and creasing pad, which I purchased separately, for my regular Big Shot and it works fine. Note: I noticed that the plus machine has a lot more pressure and it leaves an impression of the die on the top clear plate when used together with the new precision (metal) cutting plate. It also warped my wafer thin die. I think it would have been ok had I not used the precision cutting plate.
Question:	Do they have the silicone rubber mat and textures pad for the big shot plus
Answer:	Big Shot Plus; platform; adapter sheets A & B and a pair of cutting pads.I've only had it a few days and played a little bit. So far love it! You can cut a whole lot of things at once, do several embossing folders in one pass and the large folders are no problem.Hope this helps.
Question:	What is in the box
Answer:	Yes, you can use magnetic board, or any other boards that fit big kick or big shot in this machine. I Used the magnetic board, the clear plate on top, my die -blade up, paper on top and then the clear cutting board. This board will go the long way into Big Shot because it is 9" wide. I did learn that if you slant your dies on the magnet they cut out nicer. Folks PLEASE go to YOUTUBE.com and ask for Big Shot Plus tutorials. You will learn alot. Make Your Sandwich

Make the perfect Sizzix sandwich by placing your chosen die and your chosen material such as card stock between your cutting pads and place on top of your platform, following the instructions printed on the platform. If you are using a Bigz die then you will not need a platform, instead just simply create a Sizzix sandwich with your two cutting pads, a Bigz die and chosen material, such as card stock, fabric and leather!

Lets Get Cutting

Time to get cutting! Simply feed your sandwich through your machine by turning the handle and be met with your beautifully cut design on the other side in a matter of seconds. To reveal your die-cut simply take your cutting pads and die away, leaving you with your desired design. If you use an intricate wafer-thin and chemically-etched die, you may wish to use the Sizzix Die Brush or Die Pick to effortlessly remove any excess paper.
