| Answer: | Make more research before buying this, it seems to be a nice good retro type boombox but as what specs said in front page it is 5 watts per channel total of 10. In my opinion to be able to create a good reasonable thump should be at least 25 watts and should be either ported or has passive bass radiators like the JBL or Anker Soundcores. For example JBL Flip 4 produce total of 16 watts RMS has a dedicated passive radiators which create tiny good bass. For a great bass and for the price i will try to look for other models. Most Retro boombox are not even sealed with bass ports or passive radiators. |

This is the famed speaker system with a no-name BT adapter kit thrown in the box.Do not believe anyone who claims in their review that the BT interferes with anything because you can simply disconnect your device from linking to the speakers. |

| Answer: | Klipsch data sheet says 106 db. That of course will be determined by the relative level of input and source to some degree. I sampled approximately 10 songs from my iTunes collection. Different types of music. At 1/2 gain on the volume, I got an mean average of about 88-90 db on the DB app on my phone. It should be noted that 90 is fairly loud. Anything above 95 will hit what is thought to be a "red" zone and may cause damage to hearing. So I believe it is safe to assume the Klipsch estimate of 106 db is a good bench mark but not one that I would suggest you sustain for long periods of time. |
