Answer:	It appears to be single ply. It is thick enough to block the heat from a wooden deck in 100 degree weather however. You'd probably have to spend a lot more for two-ply. I bought it for the length. It was one of the longest towels out there between Amazon and eBay with a simple color (as opposed to a wild print.) It's not a terribly thick towel but thicker than most beach towels. I thought it was a bargain for the money.

Answer:	It quickly absorbs water and dries as fast as any towel. Note that this towel will likely be larger than you might be used to in a bath towel, but that's a good thing.
Question:	Does this paper have the texture typical of watercolor paper? also, will it go through my hp. printer
Answer:	As stated in the top of the description:"MULTIPURPOSE USE - Large size offers full-coverage in the home bathroom, and doubles as a large beach towel."However, I'd love to know what you would consider to NOT be suitable as a beach towel. I believe we're allowed to take our towels wherever we want, even Homeland Security doesn't seem to care about towels yet.
