Answer:	Yes it does. We had to return ours and continue purchasing the original filter.

Answer:	The blue part on this filter helps to keep white part wet. If the filter dries up there will be no moisture coming out of humidifier. Once the filter stops maintaining its moisture you have to throw it away and replace it . I have other filters that are all white and they dry up faster than this one with the blue part around it.
Question:	These claim to fit the hcm-350 series, but the dimensions shown in photos are way different than the originals i have (about 8"x5"). what is real
Answer:	Don't recall if there was a difference in actual dimensions between the original white ones and these but these do fit mine. I only bought once or twice then moved on to third party options because these are horrible compared to the original design. You have to re-saturate them yourself at least twice a day as they don't wick well enough and dry out the top half very quickly.

Answer:	Don't know what it is but it's not pleasant. It does appear over time but one week seems too short a period. I use filtered water (like from a Brita filter) and do rinse out the filter once a week to extend it's life.

Answer:	I found these to be more efficient and easier to maintain than the original ones. The originals, I needed to flip them every day since the top would dry out. These ones stay wet all over. They don't last as long but are worth it for me.

Answer:	Hello,Honestly. I do not replace the water. I feel like it is a waste. I run it till it is empty And depending on how often you let it run it lasts me about a week. After that I will do a vinegar rinse and then let it dry before replacing it with fresh water and then use it for the week. I hope that Helps.

Question:	Does a new wicking filter really improve the performance of the humidifier (i.e. more moisture in air)? Anyone tested with a gauge before and after
Answer:	I run my humidifier every night. (We are in a pretty dry area.) As time goes by, there is less and less water being pulled from the tank. As soon as I replace the wicking filter the amount of water pulled from the tank increases immediately. So, yes, the filter improves the amount of water delivered by the humidifier. This makes sense because the filter has more and more crust from minerals as time goes by, so it's effectiveness goes down.
Question:	Hello, does these filters have an antimicrobial finish like the original Honeywell brand filters
Answer:	The description at the top says "It is treated with Protec antimicrobial to inhibit up to 99.99% of mold growth on the filter." -- So, yes. :-)
Question:	is there a permanent filter available
Answer:	Not that I know of. I would, personally, not want a permanent filter. When it comes time to change them they are pretty gross. Brown and soggy. I would rather buy replacements.
Question:	Will these filters fit the Walgreens humidifier
