Answer:	Yes, you are partially correct. The actions are thus; Remove the thermostat "G" wire from the furnace terminalstrip and wire it to "G" on the Model 60 control.* Wire "Gf" on the Model 60 to "G" on the furnace terminalstrip. Also, you may use the 24v supply on the furnace control board, if it rated for enough amperage. If not, wire in the external transformer.Check your furnace manual.
Question:	If I use the wiring schematics listed on the manual, will that turn on the blower and not the furnace? Or what wiring schematic do I need
Answer:	If you use the schematic listed for "Automatic" operation (i.e. intercept the "G" wire between the thermostat and the furnace, putting the new humidistat in between) then this unit will be able to use the furnace blower without firing the furnace. Tapping into the hot water supply (instead of cold) is recommended if you use this feature. My 700 is installed this way and works very well in this configuration.

Answer:	For any humidifier to work at its best and quickly increase the humidity to desired level, it needs to be on hot air side after your furnace. Hot air captures maximum humidity compared to cold air.

Answer:	Go to your local hardware store with your broken o-ring and purchase (2) neoprene O-rings size .120" thicknesses x 1.281" ID x 1.521" OD, (1 9/32" ID x 1 17/32" OD) or as close as you can get. Compare to to the broken O-ring. Get store assistance if needed. Next, go to local drug store or Walmart and purchase small amount of KY jelly or water- based equivalent. Back home, clean out O-ring socket, place O-ring on canister, smear all over with jelly, and carefully place canister into socket. You know how the rest goes. Keep the spare O-ring and the broken ring in the bottom of the cabinet. Button it up and rock and roll! Good luck!👍

Answer:	Yes, best to replace annually. You can try rinsing it out between seasons, but that only extends life of the unit for a little while.

Answer:	I change mine as soon as the light comes on. It would be nice if Aprilaire had a wifi model that would notify when to change cartridge. Amazon has the best price for canister - about $20 less than Aprilaire site and the price has dropped in last few years. I order 2 canisters and keep one as an immediate replacement. If I am out and need to replace, I want an immediate spare as I use this to keep my grand piano and other acoustic instruments at best humidity. A 10 to 15% humidity drop over a few days and then cycling back up is havoc for a grand piano tuning.

Answer:	Good question. I would think that it applies to leakage and not performance. It should be changed annually. I change everything, seals, rack, distribution tube, strainer every 3 years. This is why I buy the kit; because it has everything you need. In years 1 and 2 I just change the water panel.

Answer:	It did fit my model 550 fitting on the solenoid valve.

Answer:	The fitting is given by the standard copper tubing (1/4 inch OD) that feeds into the valve. The yellow orifice rating is 3gph. For our house (large 1 family home) I put a stronger (dominant) restraint of 2gph orifice in series since this was sufficient to maintain near 40% humidity (using hot water). Don't mind the use of hot water - its heat is transferred into the overall heating, yet you need less water. Make sure that the filter preceding the orifice (and the electric valve) is cleaned / rinsed out - ours' contained a lot of gunk.

Answer:	Most aprilaire units will have a change filter light that comes on when the panel needs to be changed. Otherwise at least once a season.
