Answer:	No, it does not have continuous flow. It has a senor to movement and also humidity. Living in California it’s sometimes kicks on for no apparent reason. Answer:	Sorry, but you would need to ask an electrician that. But I think most building codes require a cut off with to any home appliance installed for safety.

Answer:	The instructions should help you. In the beginning, my switch was not automatically turning on. After a while, it started to do so. Remember, the switch determines the CHANGE in humidity. So the switch gauges what it feels is normal and then turns on according to the increase from normal to current conditions. in your case, it is important to not only set your sensitivity to high but also the humidistat to 20

Answer:	No, it does not require a neutral wire. I have had this switch in place for about a year now. I did not use a neutral wire and it works fine.
Question:	Can I install this unit directly above the shower
Answer:	The bottom half of the front faceplate is the switch. You just gently push it in to turn it off or on with the switch, and yes it goes off after the set time. As far as turning it on easily, you will see several reviews that note you should mount this fairly high on the wall for the sensor to work well. I mounted mine so the bottom of the faceplate is at about 6 feet and it picks up moisture from our shower within a minute or so. Neither my wife or I have problems using the manual switch at this height, but obviously you need to mount it at a height you can comfortably reach.

Question:	How much will performance be affected by downsizing to a 4” exhaust? My bathroom is about 45 sq ft., 8’ ceiling
Answer:	I don't know but it would be diminished well over 100% in air flow, and it's not designed for that pipe. Pi x 2"(squared) = 12.5 square inches. Compare that to the cross sectional area of 6" pipe: Pi x 3(squared) = 28.26 square inches. That's a 126% increase cross-sectional area. I had cheap pipe too; these pipes will accumulate dust and plastic exhaust pipes no longer will pass building codes. Do it right and you will be glad you did. Usually an Easy Task: Just pull the 4" pipe out from the outside opening. But DO NOT, pull it out until you go and buy metal flex 6" pipe of the correct length. I duct taped my new pipe very securely with the old plastic pipe in my bathroom. You will be using the old plastic pipe to drag your new pipe into place. I had about 20' length to replace in my case. It worked fine until I hit a snag with a nail most of the way thru. I was able to take a 10' length of PVC pipe and use it to nudge the new vent pipe into a better position to slide and continue to fish thru the full length. Buy 10 or 20 feed of extra 6" flex metal pipe. In case you damage some of it while fishing it thru your corridor. This way you can keep pulling it out until you get an air tight section from end to end. If you will use a generous amount of high-end duct tape to join your pipes securely, this method works very well. I would not attempt this with low quality duct tape. There is a huge difference in strength and adhesive.
Question:	What is size of the night light bulb
Answer:	Not sure, but I believe it is an led bulb that emits a nice blue light. From 8' height is casts a small diffused amount of light around an ten foot area.
Question:	Is this a 4" or 6" duct diameter
Answer:	The duct is 6". Because of the airflow (150 CFM) you can't use anything smaller than 6" without severely reducing airflow and putting extra strain on the motor.
Question:	Is it possible to control this fan with one switch, the install sheet seems to indicate it would be controlled by two circuits
Answer:	There are two circuits for this fan. The main circuit supplies power to the electronics and fan for the automatic operation. Powering this circuit alone will run the fan at the selected slow speed (0%, 50%, 80%,or 90% of high speed)and if the humidity reaches the selected percent (50, 60, 70, 80, or 90%), the motor will slowly increase in speed up to the highest speed. By the way, the fan draws 2.4 watts on 50% slow speed, and 11.5 watts on the highest speed (measured). The blue LED is on in the automatic mode.If you want to force the fan into the highest speed without regards to the level of humidity, simply apply power to the "mode" circuit. This is an isolated circuit from the main power circuit, and powers only an opto isolator for control purposes. When powered, it switches the motor to full speed, and the LED changes from blue to yellow.It would be possible to power the fan from one switched circuit for the automatic operation, and connect the mode circuit to the bathroom light so anyone going into the bathroom would force the fan (if on) to the high speed. When the light goes out, the fan goes back to the lower speed, in automatic mode.If you want 2 switches, I found a nice vertical dual rocker decorator switch - Pass & Seymour TM811WCC6 Decorator Combination Single Pole and Single Pole Easy Install, White.Also, this fan is SO quiet, I may have to add a sound effects generator to "mask" some bathroom noises.

Answer:	The buld is not replaceable as the LEDs are integrated into the circuit board. And unfortunately the lighting color is so bad that I've turned it off completely. I'd pick another product if lighting is important factor.

Answer:	Its wired separately but the product is not dimmable.

Answer:	I'm no electrician, but I would sure think an inside the shower install in the ceiling would work just fine. Ours is in the ceiling between the shower and the toilet. That way it ventilates for both.

Answer:	If you paint it make sure not to plug the vent holes to ensure proper air flow.

Answer:	It depends on what type of switch that you installed. I have a Panasonic FV-WDCD01 switch and the delay is around 10 to 15 seconds.
Question:	Does this fan have a timer so that you can set it to run for thirty minutes and it will go off automatically
Answer:	You'd purchase a timer that installs in place of an electrical switch on your wall. I suggest running 2 pairs of wire from the switch to the fan in case you intend to use the extra modules (always on, humidity sensor, etc., sold separately) that require the fan to have constant power.
Question:	Does this fan have built in multi speed and run continuously at low speed
Answer:	NO, This unit DOES NOT HAVE the "Whispergreen Multi-Speed Module" in it. I used my old one in this new one to have a whole house fan. The motion detector is nice too. When one enters the room, the motion detector automatically speeds up to high speed with no other action required. The fan slows to whole house mode after a pre set time.

Answer:	You can do either. I did 4 and the flow is strong and silent.

Answer:	There is a switch located on the fan housing to select either 80 or 110 CFM. You would make the selection at the time of fan installation.

Question:	why is the fan humming and not blowing air
Answer:	The fan only switches mode after a quick on/off. I usually leave it in the auto mode, first turned on. It will speed-up as the humidity rises and later slow down or even shutoff if the humidity gets low. If you want it to run full speed just give it a quick on/off.
Question:	Is this fan a plug in or hard wire to a light switch
Answer:	The ceiling opening is 10"x10". It fits in between standard 16" on center joists. We love the humidity controlled feature. Why aren't all units like this? Just makes sense.
